He probably didnt understand the seriousness since they were just dogs. Leornard Little was drunk, killed a woman, yet is in the league right now. Michael Vick killed some dogs, and people are wanting him to do up to 5 years or more in prison. I dont know about you but i value a human life more than an animal's.

No youre a clown. exactly, they're animals not humans. What did i say that is incorrect, can you please inform me? We eat animals, hunt animals, kill animals daily, he killed dogs, but deserves over a year in the federal pen.?Drunk drivers have killed humans and get nothing but Vick is somehow more of a danger to our society for fighting dogs and deserves federal time? And someone posted pictures, is that supposed to make me feel bad? I could easily post pictures of a slaughtering house or a deer shot while it bleeds to death, but somehow thats different right. Listen guys, let's bring some sanity to this discussion.

1) What Michael Vick did was wrong, wrong, wrong. Inexcusable. Offensive.

2) Michael Vick deserves SOME TYPE of punishment. Whether it's monetary, or prison time, or something else.

3) Hunting, Rodeos, fox-n-hound, and animal sports ALSO are cruel and involve alot of animal abuse. People hunt for fun, not for food.

4) Animals are NOT, NOT, NOT equivalent to humans. Do not compare killing an animal to killing a human. When your dog is very sick, you have him put to sleep. Would you do that with your seriously ill daughter?

Personally, I would rather see Michael Vick fined TEN MILLION DOLLARS than to go to prison. I think that HIS MONEY would help make things right more than him spending time in jail. Every weekend, I see the ladies with the puppies in front of PetSmart collecting dollars and pennies. Vick has the type of money to make a big positive impact to the animal rescue charities. Time in jail will punish him, but won't "help make things right" .

Vick helped kill alot of dogs, and the authorities confiscated 66 pitbulls who must be destroyed because they are too violent to incorporate into society. I'm much more interested in helping to make things right. I want his money.
