Maybe that was a poor choice of words; I would say mistreated is the better term. In any event, the intent is the factor, I think, and the severvity of the 'mistreatment' or 'abuse.'

Another argument against dog fighting is the unintended consequences of raising dogs to be vicious and brutal. People are frequently attacked in the inner city of Boston by these dogs because they trained to bite and attack. This is also a public safety issue...

dogs by nature have a chemical imbalance that makes their instincts much more attacking than humans. i agree than some dogs can be made more vicious but dogs are natural that way, now you can breed them to be less but you can never take those instincts away from them. im not saying dog killing dogs isnt wrong, im just saying i would rather them kill out its on race before it tries to get us humans down. their being way to hard on a man who didnt hurt a human. based on what other humans have done to other humans. its contradictory like someone above said.

Why dont you have a little knowledge and try to understand what I mean instead of jumping on a bandwagon and just looking to critisize or make yourself feel better. But if you must have to have it broken down. Even today on the news a see where a dog has killed a women, it broke into the house and killed the women. Recenly my cousin was killed by a pit bull just because he was outside playing basketball in his driveway. I do not agree with animals like this killing innocent human beings. And as much as i dont agree with animals killing other animals, thats the way our world has been functioning throughout its whole existance.

I don't know what it is really. I've seen it, but I'm not sure that the animal is hurt. And the intent is to take the animal down, as you stated. Not inflict pain or death on it...

And Roy is right. Vick bought the house and has been doing this for six years. And made little to no effort to conceal what he was doing. Clearly, Vick isn't a smart guy who understood the gravity of the situation. Would anybody who is right-thinking put a $117 million contract in jeopardy over some dog-fighting?

Alot of dogs attacks in my area are because the dogs are vicious and are trained by their owners to be that way. This is a dangerous by-product of dog fighting. It should be condemned..

....All of the houses were painted jet black so they wouldn't be seen at night by helicopters checking out a dog fighting tip. The dogs were destroyed instead of taken to the pound as to not arouse su****ion. Everything they did was based on concealing the whole deal. Hell, it took forever to get enough evidence to indict him. That doesn't happen when people break the law in plain view and they don't think they are doing something wrong.
