Saying Hatton is a better boxer than DLH is ridiculous. Castillo is over the hill, but wasn't when he fought Floyd or Diego, Judah is questionable, Corrales was a warrior who would have smacked Hatton around the ring.
    HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM IS THAT RIGHT

Being in wars does not mean you are a great fighter. Has Mayweather been in any wars like those? No.

DLH was certainly the better fighter, but Hatton is in his prime when DLH was not. I'd say Hatton was definitely close to the top of the Mayweather opponents tree at the stage in their careers when the fight takes/took place.

Oscar is BY FAR the best Floyd has faced. After that I think Hatton takes it, prime Castillo was never quite as good as Ricky is, and certainly not Corrales, he's not even close. Judah maybe because he's a tough matchup for Floyd, but overall he's no better than Hatton.
          Hey Kayjay,

I might give you Gatti being a prettyboy, but you can't argue against Micky Ward. Straight forward come forward orthodox boxer. Great chin, great body puncher, too much for Ricky.

I gotta disagree with you on Chico. DLH was a great match-up. Imagine if he's have scrapped him in his prime?

Prime DLH would have been tougher, but the DLH we saw on May 5 was far from washed up. I'm convinced he could still crush the remainder of the guys at 147 & 154.

Chico was exciting, but could he handle guys as big as him? Really he could have fought someone like Hatton at 140.

I think those two are better than Hatton, in fact I'm sure. If you've seen all Hatton's scraps you can argue otherwise, I have. The guy is so average.

                  Yeah man,

DLH would have beaten most in his prime.

Chico? I think he'd have done it against Hatton. Great chin, great balls and a freakishly tall dude with big reach. He'd have done a Tommy Hearns.

I can mail you some lame Ricky fights to put you in the picture if you need.

I voted 3rd. I see it as Hatton is not better than DLH prime or no prime. DLH fought a very good fight he just fell short at the end. And I believe Judah gave Mayweather the most trouble early on. His speed was definitely something Floyd had to be aware of. Judah was intimidating and was throwing lots of combos early on and really stalked Floyd. Then it all went down hill. So now insert Hatton I guess. But really. I don't see him being a tough fight for Floyd. Everyone has pressured Floyd and backed him up. He's fought like that his entire career. Hatton isn't going to be any different. Sure he'll have his moments where he clinces him and ****s away at the body but that's about it. Floyd has a good chin and add thay to the fact he rolls most punches he won't take hardly any damage.
