Is Hatton the Best Fighter Mayweather Has Ever Faced?

Hatton is undefeated, the lineal champ at 140, and in his prime. Where do you rank Hatton compared to Mayweather's other opposition? Is he a better opponent than guys like DLH, Castillo, Judah, Corrales, etc.?

        He isn't.

Saying Hatton is a better boxer than DLH is ridiculous. Castillo is over the hill, but wasn't when he fought Floyd or Diego, Judah is questionable, Corrales was a warrior who would have smacked Hatton around the ring.

I don't think prime Corrales or Castillo could beat Hatton at 140. I would also favor Hatton over Judah at 140 or 147...

We'll agree to disagree, my friend. Look at the wars Corrales has been in, Hatton hasn't been in anything close to that. Look also at Gatti - Ward trilogy, Hatton would be eaten up.

              I voted 2nd - and i'm a big Hatton nuthugger.

DLH is one of the greatest fighters of his generation, there isn't anything he hasn't achieved in boxing.

PBF risked alot and came out with the decision.

              Hatton is no.2

The only other fighter that was undefeated was Corrales but aparently he was weight drained.

Hatton is in his prime, undefeated and is moving up a weight so will not be drained.

All Floyds other opponents have had numerous losses and stoppages, they all look good on his reord but when you look at their own records they were all found out previously.

I give Hatton a great chance, Floyd hasnt faced anyone as physicly strong as Hatton, someone who will be in his face pushing and barging, mauling him but with punches galore as well.

I think we will see Floyd realise the weight he has put on has slown him down because his legs will not be able to keep him out of trouble for long enough, I dont think Floyds power will be enough to discourage Ricky, Tszyus certainly wasnt.

Gatti and Ward??? Are you serious?? C'mon man they got famous for that, but those guys would have been a walk in the park for Ricky Hatton.

Oscar is BY FAR the best Floyd has faced. After that I think Hatton takes it, prime Castillo was never quite as good as Ricky is, and certainly not Corrales, he's not even close. Judah maybe because he's a tough matchup for Floyd, but overall he's no better than Hatton.
