I think that the Baldomir-Hatton comparison is apt in this way:

You have to be prepared for a long night if you fight either one. You saw Baldo never give up, never stop coming vs Judah and Mayweather and Gatti and Forrest.

In the Judah and gatti fights, they crumbled under that pressure. Neither of them were up to the task.

In the Mayweather and Forrest fights, they had the physical tools, but more importantly, the conditioning and mindset to deal with Baldo all night.

Kostya Tszyu had slipped well past his better days. And his mindset was such that he didn't want to deal with Ricky's pressure anymore. After the fight, he said that he "realized that I couldn't win". Well, the fight was still too close on the cards for Zoo to make that determination himself. It hadn't been a complete blowout. But KT didn't have the mental fortitude anymore.

By contrast, Luis Collazo (who is not particularly talented or tough) was ready to deal with Ricky mentally. That is why LC did well late in that fight. In fact, almost KO'ing Hatton.

If you fight Hatton or Ouma or Williams or Margarito, you need to pack a lunch.

Ricky will make you walk through the fire.

Hatton actually is very talented. There's nary a guy out there who's as quick with his feet, closing distance and that has the stamina he has but one of the things I like about him is that he compensates for lack of talent in certain areas with heart and ferociousness.

Would you be saying that if he was predicting a Hatton win?
