so you'd like anyone not on the "pbf annihilates hatton" bandwagon to shut the **** up? that will make for an interesting forum.

            .....................

u will never be able to please everyone...every fighter out there people say floyds ducking them ..... ive been reading lately that people are saying why is he fighting hatton ...he took the easiest fight of all the fighters in the division...why not fight paul williams ...why not cotto...they talk so much before a fight gets signed but when it does they immediately discredit his opponents...if he fights paul williams ...they say why dosent he fight cotto....if he fights cotto...why dosent he fight williams...if he fights hatton ...why dosent he fight Jesus...i mean come on already.... talk talk talk.... before he signs the fight all hype...now its signed hattons not good enough fight somone else.... the facts speak for themselves...whatever u think boxing is or should be...regardless of what type of styles u like in boxing...regardless of who said what or did what....floyd is undefeated.... and never is any opponent enough to please the public... again regardless of what u think boxing should be or is.... could it be...just maybe ....maybe just maybe maybe....that floyd is a great boxer..................

when is talent enough to beat someone, there are tons of guys out there that have all the talent in the world and can't beat some of the people that they're supposed to beat, i.e. judah vs baldomir. baldy brought heart, determination, hard work and a chin to the ring and beat the champ. when is it all about talent. sometimes talent is a killer to some fighters, relying on talent alone. talent is an over used word in boxing and a word that i think does more harm then good to fighters.

i've seen more fights where the guy who is physically gifted and who has better talent gets beat because the other guys has heart and won't stop until it's over. pushing and pushing until he gets what he wants and that is the win, we've seen tons of mexican fighters to prove that theory over the years, heart wins fights, coupled with other important factors, we've seen tons of fighters win when the cards were stacked against them and more than likely they won because the other guy relied on his "talent" to get him through the fight.

it's a full package of what allows someone to win a fight, a full package that involves both sides, it involves both fighters and everything that leads up to the fight itself and end of the fight.

who trained harder? who trained more focused? who wanted it more? who's head is on straight? etc. the list goes on for days. i'm just sick and tired of people no matter who it is talking about talent this talent that, talentless this and talentless that. there is more depth to winning then just talent. for **** sake..................

yeah talented how? boxing skill? heart? determination? focus?

like teddy atlas was saying in a recent broadcast, talent is more then just physical, it's more then being gifted, some guys talent lie in being durable or more durable, they're persistent, etc...................

i'm not jumping on your back i think anyone on that kind of level is talented, but the general use of the word isnt good enough to say what someone is really talented in. i think hatton is talented, same with mayweather, but who's talents run deeper? what talents can and can't be seen until they are forced to come to the surface?

specifics is what i'm getting at, some guys you can't see their talents until they have the opportunity to show them, their opponents physical talents could easily overshadow theirs until they get their chance, easy example is baldomirs, his talent in persistence led him to victory, but we didn't get to see that until the fight started to unfold in the mid to late rounds.

terry marsh does(did) not have the experience that ricky hatton has, period.
his record "was" insignicant and to be quite honest how can "we" crticise ricky or call him the easiest fight????? how many more wins over floyd does he have? how many more ko,s? how many rounds did it take floyd to outpoint jose luis castillo?oh and lets not forget ricky IS still unbeaten so how can it be an easy fight for floyd or anyone else?????? oh i know why peope think that!!! its because hes not american! and ofcourse all the best fighters are american(sarcasm) english wit! for those who dont understand in the good ole u.s.a! :fight result:win or lose floyd will walk away knowing hes been in a real fighter.
