I don't want to take anything away from JMM. He is a great fighter and has a lot of heart. I feel that he has gotten off 2 easy. A draw over Pac and a win over MAB. N/e ways whats everyones top 5 fighters at the 130 division????

      Barrera Schools Marquez

EDIT: I had no idea the video took shots at Marquez's sexuality at the end, that was disrespectful.

The ref didn't count it as a K.D so MAB swung at him. Even JMM knew he got K.D

Well whatever it was, the referee should have jumped in... Barrera waited like 5 seconds before he whacked him... it was dumb on MAB's part, but still... call it a knockdown, or a slip, or something before the end of the god damn round Jay Nady, or I'll get Zab Judah to choke your ass out again.

No way in hell did he look better against JMM than he did against Morales imo. Against Morales he was putting combinations together a lot quicker, and he was in tremendous shape. I had it 8-4, an amazing performance by him.

Against JMM his jab was on point, but JMM was getting off first almost every time it seemed. MAB just looked a step slower than he usually does. Credit to JMM for adjusting mid fight with the uppercuts and left hooks as well. Either way, he won four to five rounds against a Hall of Fame level boxer. You cant take anything away from that. I had it 116-111 for JMM.

The whole 7th round was just insane. Considering Barrera was almost out before the knockdown, you have to score it 10-9. With Barrera's point deduction (which although I think could have been prevented by Nady if he were in correct position, should have been counted), it's a 9-9 round, and on my card that still makes it 115-112 for JMM.

for me that seven round was going to be a 10-9 for JMM, yes he was winning the round easily, but i have seen worst rounds for Marco against PAC with 10-9 score

with the KD Marco stole the round and will get a 10-8..

but with the one point penalty IT SHOUD have been a 10-9 Marco...

Am I watching a different fight than everyone else or what? I'm genuinely confused by this.

                      great post!!!

i dont see how people are writing barrera off so easily, he has shown he can comeback from defeat and does well when he is the underdog in fights. i have no doubt that barrera will put on a better performance in this fight against pacman then he did the first time against him. win or lose, barrera will trouble pacman alot in this fight and pacman will not have an easy time in the ring with MAB.

i also think barrera beat JMM in a close fight, if jay nady spotted the knock down, then i think there would be no doubts about barreras victory!!!!! and comparing both barrera and pacmans performace against JMM, i think Barrera put up a better performance against JMM.

i cant wait for October 6th
