Well it's impossible to compare the two in popularity since Oscar is known by even casual fans. But if I were in Floyd's shoes I wouldn't mind being hated as long as I got the respect I deserved. The whole bad guy scheme is working for him to perfection. It's amazing how many people have fallen into this trap. He also does have a nice sized fanbase and he really appreciates the fans he does have. He's a nice dude and does whatever he has to in order to get PPV buys. He started talking LOTS of trash when he finally hit the PPV scene for a reason. Now look at him. He's on top of the boxing world... Seems like whatever he did is working since love him or hate him EVERYONE is talking about him non stop. Anyway, I'm been a huge fan of his for a long time so I'm just enjoying the ride. I'm mesmerized by his skills in the ring and that's what I really judge him on.

Don't group everyone together. I appreciate watching a boxing clinic just as much as I enjoy watching an all out brawl. I believe in doing whatever it takes to win and using your brain to fight. I love the defensive side of boxing. It's an art form that I truly get the most joy watching. Hit and don't get hit. It's so ****ing brilliant and believe me, most boxers wish they could do it. Nothing like making your opponent miss and countering it right back at them. Thus is boxing, a sport of many different approaches. You clearly only like one style and that's unfortunate for you.

Willie Pep, Pernell Whitaker and Winky Wright disagree with you.

But then again, what do they know?

Floyd will never be as popular as Oscar. Most people do know who Floyd Mayweather is. Almost all males that I know are aware of Floyd.

He didn't "steal". Oscar's gym bag. He "took" Oscar's gym bag and dared Oscar to come get it.

He openly admits that he took Oscar's bag: "Yeah, I took your bag. Do something about it. Come do something about it."

It is a matter of punking Oscar and taking Oscar's manhood. Not "stealing", per se.

Also, PBF said "I respect Oscar as a man, but not as a fighter. That's just the type of guy I am.". You can pull the presscon up on YT.
about the "i respect oscar as a man but not as a fighter" remark...you're right...my fault...its been awhile since the press conference and i forgot the exact quote...

about the gym bag i only say stole because oscar said it and floyd didnt seem to complain with what he said...he just said in return that he took it and wants him to do something about it.

i know he didnt take it because he cant afford one...i know it was only to get on oscar's nerves...

its still not very professional though...either way mayorga talking trash about oscar's wife...thats crossing the line...dont you think?

i did think it was funny when jab and mayweather were calling each other a ***** during their fight...it was kind of funny...

I find it funny a that guy not even number 1 in his own weight class (whatever that is) is regarded as the mythical #1 P4P. In collecting belts he never took the on the #1 guy of any of those divisions.
How is Floyd not the number 1 welterweight in the world?

Wait, he is right beause he beat the welterweight champion Arturo Gatti. The F**k could I forget about that. Thanks a bunch for reminding me. I have memory lapses sometimes, not joking.
