Its so funny how mis educated some of the new to boxing fans are. Floyd has been making millions for years and he also has investments just like Oscar does.

Nobody is saying that Floyd aint rich. I just pointed out that although he was making a few mil here and there, he just NOW started making the "BIG TIME" money. He is nowhere near Oscar when it comes to net worth. One poster was goofing on Oscar for driving an old Land Rover Discovery. So because Oscar is ****** rich he has to go out and spend about 5mil on cars ala Floyd? Once Floyd looses his first fight, his marketibilty will go waaaay down because the majority of people who currently tune in to watch his fights, do so to see him lose or get ko'd. Everytime the fool is on t.v, every other word out his mouth is "money", as if he was the first boxer to make alot of money. He should take that money and hire somebody to teach him some class and how to act like a proffesional. It'll be the best investment he can make.Comment

Thats the thing, I DONT CARE WHAT HE DOES WITH HIS MONEY. I was just responding to the poster who made the comment about Oscar and his "old" car. As for it being all an act? I dont think so. Floyd really wishes that he was this person that he portrays on tv. Rapper/Gangster/thug/etc...Comment

How do you know about the bold? You do care somewhat about what he does with his money or you wouldn't have made the comment you made? Its one thing to comment but the comment you made it seems like you care. If really wanted to be a gangster he wouldn't have back down when a person he had business dealings with threatened him and had Leonard Ellerbe beat the **** up. Where does Floyd portray a gangster? I don't see him throwing up signs or wearing certain colors. And I haven't heard Floyd release any cd's. Talking **** and being black doesn't make you a gangster. Sounds like you don't know what your talking about.Comment

If he would just fight the other top guys in the WW division he should be straight. He'll prove to the fans that he's not all talk. He claims he can beat the other top WW's so why not go out and do it. I hope he fights the winner of Cotto/Mosely next. I'm hoping that Cotto wins. That way he would be in the ring with another undefeated young champion whos gonna bring the fight to him by throwing non stop punches and not tiring. I'm not saying Mosely won't bring the fight to him, but who honestly wants to see that. If Floyd wins that fight people would use Shane's age as an excuse. With Cotto there would be no excuses.Comment
