He has made a career by beating ODLH in the first fight. He lost the second fight, lost to Forrest twice and lost to Wright twice. In conclusion ,his best win is the first ODLH fight and has remained a player in boxing by people who still hold on to that fight.
Mosley is one of those guys that looked un-****ing-believable against inferior competition early on. You almost couldn't believe the combination of speed/power/chin/tenacity. And he was a nice, well-spoken, humble guy on top of that. I saw some all-time LW rankings that had Shane in the top ten on the basis of beating nobody.

So, he developed a "buzz" based on that.

And then, you put Shane in against tougher comp, and he looks very human. Shane can't dominate an elite fighter.

He fought 24 pretty even/slightly better rounds with Oscar. He was soundly beaten by Forrest twice. Kind of embarrased by Winky once, but he did a bit better the second time. And then, the fight with (a fried) Vargas was pretty even until Nando's eye got gruesome.

People make excuses for him being dominated like "it was a bad style"..."those guys were taller"..."Forrest had his number". Ummm. OK.

And Shane looked very suspect vs Estrada (a guy that Cintron put away), and somebody named Jose Luis Cruz.

To top it all off, Shane unquestionably did steroids. He has completely skated on this issue. If Barry Bonds is considered a cheater, and if Barry's accomplishments are in question, then so are Shane's. They did the SAME stuff.

Has anyone asked themselves why Shane never looked so otherworldly again?

(one had it 115-113 for oscar).

that is still a very controversial issue because i believed oscar beat him...the one judge believed oscar beat him...oscar believes he beat him...floyd mayweather jr's own DAD believes oscar beat him (i dont care what he says now...he was sitting 10 feet away from the ring fight night...he's taking that statement back because he must be getting in good with floyd jr again) and there are thousands of people that believes oscar beat him...

i think it was a robbery and oscar should have been the winner...

in my opinion floyd did NOT do ENOUGH to win the fight...

i had it 115-113 for oscar.

I had it a draw going into the last round, as did a friend of mine at the time. Floyd did enough to pinch it in the last. Much to my disappointment.

He did look rather large in the second ODLH fight. He probably took that Balco **** and passed the lie detector test because that Balco **** was not considered steroids.Since the stuff he took weren't called steroids , then when he is asked if he ever took steroids, he says no and passes the lie detector test. It is very conceivable that he did take steroids because his career was going nowhere after the Forrest fights.

Jesus Christ, there are no bad decisions unless one fighter won without a shadow of a ****ing doubt, like Miguel Angel Huerta over Kid Diamond or Buster Douglas over Mike Tyson (considering one judge had Tyson ahead and the other had it tied when Douglas outlanded him every round). A fight you scored 115-113 is NOT a ****ing robbery, no matter what way it went. 2 judges gave it to Mayweather. Emanuel Steward said that it could have been judged differently because of different judging philosophies, so a SD was probably a good call. No one gives anyone any credence anymore who talks about robberies because people call **** like ODLH-Mayweather a robbery.

It is not "conceivable" that he took steroids. HE TOOK STEROIDS.

Shane was taking BALCO products. BALCO was distributing steroids. Ergo.....

Victor Conte and the rest of the BALCO team went to prison. He plead guilty.
The track athletes have been exposed. The baseball players have been exposed. The football players were exposed. The only reason why Shane has skated is because there is no national or international governing organization for boxing.

THG is a steroid. It isn't a supplement, or a vitamin. It is an anabolic steroid.

I can't believe there are still knuckleheads crying Oscar won that fight. There are only a few reasons why anyone would of had Oscar winning that is...

                      1) Don't know how to score a fight

                      2) Need some ****ing glasses

                      3) Your Hate blinded you

Either way your ****ing ****** opinion or not. That fight shouldn't even of been a split should of been a Unanimous Dec. for Floyd.
