So is he also ducking Wladimir Klitschko and Isreal Vazquez? He hasn't been calling them out either.

Newsflash: Floyd Mayweather Jr. is ducking Wladimir Klitschko.

Seriously though, Cotto hasn't been calling Mayweather out that much either. It's the same as those blanket "I will fight anybody in the division. He hasn't been going after Mayweather singularly, he has been calling out Mosley, Williams, Margarito, Mayweather, etc.

Mayweather doesn't have to go toe to to with Hatton. He can fight the same fight he fought against Arturo Gatti and, like he did against Gatti, knock Hatton out. Keep in mind that we are talking about the same guy whose promoter refused to allow him to fight Mayweather at 140 three years ago and whose management team asked for $13 million to fight Mayweather one year ago and the same guy who was almost knocked out in his first fight at 147 against a B-Class Fighter. The only question about this fight is in which round Hatton's corner will throw in the towel. I predict round 6.

i will be very surprised if he tries to go toe to toe, that would be unwise against Hatton

against gatti Mayweather knew he overmatched gatti in every way except heart. this is not the case against hatton if you think so you need to watch some more of hattons fights. Standing toe to toe against Hatton would play right into hattons strengths.

This is at 147. He walked down Judah and stood with him. He went after Sharmba Mitchell, and boxed and moved and in the late rounds "danced" against Baldomir. Oscar never really hurt Floyd, I doubt Hatton could.
well i can say if floyd decides to brawl 12 rounds with hatton that he's a fool.

floyd is not a natural welterweight (as another poster pointed out)...

its true...floyd was 25-26 fighting at 130-135...that is not a natural welterweight...floyd would be better suited at 140...it seems more the naturalweight...i think he's 7 pounds higher than he should be...and that is because the bigger names are at 147 ...who's really big at 140? malignaggi is the biggest name (as far as champions at 140 go)...and i dont think floyd wants to fight paulie anyway (not big enough of a name for him).

i will give floyd credit though...he's fought at 147 and 154 and looked pretty decent...especially for packing around the extra weight.

judah's power is not hatton's power...hatton has more power (or at least he shows me he has more power).

judah has power but not enough to hurt floyd too much...rock him sure...if he gets a really clean shot he could probably get a flash knockdown...but never enough to knock floyd out...hatton (if he could get in a good clean shot or two) knockdown floyd...and no flash knockdown either...hatton has power and i dont know why there are so many people that think hatton doesnt possess enough power to worry floyd...

remember judah didnt respect "zoo's" power either...but what happened in the second round...a knockout...and if any fighter underestimates another they could wind up knocked out too...

oscar was getting to floyd...he just didnt do early enough or often enough...the jab of oscar is great and it was giving floyd problems...surprisingly in the fight oscar's right did much more damage than any left hooks...mayweather wasnt in any danger of getting knocked down but he was sure feeling those punches...when oscar was lucky enough to land some...

if oscar could connect more in the fight then he would have had hurt him more visably...

you cant hurt a fighter you barely reach...(which was the case in de la hoya vs. mayweather)...oscar couldnt really get to him and break down his defense or slow him down...

He won't brawl with Hatton. I know that. Hatton isn't a natural 147 pounder. Oscar is a more complete fighter than Hatton, and as for Zab Judah he doesn't box like Floyd. They fight differently and Zab admits he was clowning with Tszyu until he got caught. I don't think Hatton can hurt Floyd. Hatton won't land clean enough to hurt him IMO. And I think Zab would do bad things to Hatton.

What advantages does Hatton have over PBF that Gatti did not ALSO have ( size & strength)

In what way does Hatton overmatch Floyd?
