Ricky Hatton: "Floyd Mayweather is a Clown"

Floyd is a very nice guy outside of the ring. He enjoys throwing money around. The only way you would feel bad about the way he handles money is if money means more than it should to you. Money can't buy love and Floyd knows that and repeats it time and time again.

He absolutely always, always gives respect to his opponents after the fight. He may not have the nicest on camera persona, so if you don't like it fine.

At the same time, I can't help but wonder what makes Hatton so different, save the money flaunting thing. He talks more **** than a little bit. Just because he says it with a smile rather than a scowl makes if even more diabolical if you ask me.

Ricky's no gentleman he's a crude brit who's somewhat witty, and people think he's funnier than he actually is. I don't dislike the guy, I just find his brand of **** talking as somewhat of a parallel to that of Floyd's.

To even compare Hatton to PBF is rediculous.
When you talk about Hatton talking ****....with a smile...What planet are you on..He's just giving PBF alittle of his own medicine and having a laugh at his expense.

Mayweather totally disrepecting to other fighters, has a massive ego, is arrogant, opinionated, not very cleaver or witty or funny, shouts alot....(always means you lack class and intelligence) and generally pisses everyone off within seconds of opening his mouth...then cries like a ***** some anyone dare to criticise him...
If you can't take it , don't dish it out..

Compared to the bollocks that comes out of PBF, you really consider hatton to be anywhere near as bad...get real..
Hatton makes great effort to respect his opponent and very rarely gets involved in a slgging match unless the other fighter has given him some abuse before hand...
He's not a wanker who will just sit back and take it....i.e Witter, PBF etc...
Maybe he does it with a smile because he is naturally a nice bloke and prefers to take the piss, than get too up set with these people..

I think idf PBF tries to fook about with Hatton like he did with ODH in the pre fight build up....Hatton will just laugh at the guy and make him look ******....or just maybe knock the fooker out...
He's going to make Mayweather look ******.

I'm not evern a Hatton fan; but that re-incarnation joke was funny as hell!!! I can actually see PBF sayin' that after a fight. "I beat Ricky Hatton so bad, ez work, I'm so good Larry (Merchant), if I died tommorrow I only wish that I could come back as myself." That one was just as funny, as B-Hop telling Oscar, "I'm going to whip yo ass so bad, that after I get done beating you, I'm going to make you look like me." Oscar even laughed at that one.

Floyd and Oscar are entertainers. The same way that I don't presume to know much about Oscar, I can't say that I know much about Floyd.

I see his public persona. I don't know what he is like when the cameras go off. Do you?

you know what i always say. a good deed is only done when you keep quiet that you have done it. once you tell the world that you have done a good deed, it is infact no longer a good deed.

to tell the world that you have given a driver 100 dollars as a tip, and someoen else has only given 20 dollars doesnt make you the better man. yeah someone else is 80 dollars better off, but when you give it to use it as a publicity stunt, or to maike yourself look better than the next guy, it really doesnt make you a better guy at all. if he really wants to talk about charity then there are some celbes or sport stars that would make him look like a fool. well if you think he doesnt make a fool of himself anyway.
