He would probably want to be someone who is a great athlete and still had a good childhood and a healthy relationship with all members of his family, especially his father. No bull**** on that comment.

And when it comes down to it I agree with Hatton's comments about Mayweather, he is a clown outside the ring. He is the best fighter in the world inside of it though and I don't think Ricky Hatton will be able to beat him but I'm sure mayweather's ***********al home may be partly to blame for the way he acts and tries to project himself to the world. Anyman who truly has self confidence and feels comfortable with who they are has no reason to boast, brag, put others down, and flaunt the way he does. It's not all a show either because he's still not the guy putting asses in the seats, maybe even less so after his last fight.

I'm not a Floyd hater i'm just being real, analyzing his attitude as I see it,I still think he's number 1 pound for pound and going to UD hatton.

I do see a problem with that. His legacy will always be remembered as: Floyd Mayweather, great boxer but an utter ****. I'd rather be remembered as: Floyd Mayweather, great boxer. The utter **** bit doesnt need to go hand in hand, it doesnt really help him any in the ring.

              Umm, I think it does.

See, Floyd gets MORE satisfaction from TELLING Oscar that he is gonna whip his ass. "I can be 130 and you be 160 and you STILL couldn't beat me". From TELLING Gatti that he is a C+ fighter. "I'm gonna embarrass him in his own house".

              ...and then doing it.

Some guys need that to motivate themselves to that next level. Tiger plays better when someone has called him out. Jordan liked being challenged. Mayweather creates those scenarios and that "he disrespected me" rationale in his mind to motivate him even more.

For those of you that work out: there's a certain tape that gets you amped. It might be heavy metal... or rap. But it gets your blood pumping and motivates you. Soft rock wouldn't do it.

Hatton is %100 correct in his asessing of Floyd Mayweather. You know, Roy Jones used to be full of himself and talk about himself in the third person and all that, but he did all that with CHARISMA and you knew besides all the crap he talked that he was just doing it for fun, kind of like Ali did. Everyone knows Jones is a nice guy out of the ring as well. When Mayweather talks about himself, you just can't help but dislike the guy. He does it with arrogance and is the epitome of gaudy "hip-hop thugishness". I just can't stand the guy and hope he realizes one day that he acted like such an ******.
