Because Tyson had everyone in their prime. Lewis had the leftovers.

I agree with alot of what you say,

When tyson was 19 and undisputed champ, where was lewis?

When tyson was a force where was lewis?

      I'll tell you where,

He was struggling with Frank Bruno, a guy who carrer was ended by tyson.

Bruno, Ruddock, Biggs and Tucker are the left overs I assume your eluding to. They were hardly career high points for Lewis, he cemented his place in history by beating better fighters than those four. You can argue the merits of Lewis and Tyson's achievements until your blue in the face, but their resumes don't compare, trying to argue that they do would make you look foolish.

I don't get your drift. Are you agreeing with me? I'm not being confrotational, I'm just confused.

No. I'm just saying criticizing Lewis's resume in an attempt to defend Tyson doesn't make much sense.

IMO Lennox is both great and a legend......top 10 alltime. He beat every man he ever faced and while he did never fight prime Tyson it is well known Prime Bowe wanted nothing to do with Lennox. Also I would bet behind closed doors Tysons handlers were saying not to fight Lennox bec ause mike would have nothing more than a 50-50 punchers chance.......why risk it.When Lennox was fully into his fights he was unstoppable.Speed, power and skill that was just amazing for his size.

Fair point, and that's my bad.

Can you criticise Tyson's resume, though? I don't think you can. He's a bit like Diego Corrales, had everyone, in their prime, twice.

But who the **** is everyone?

Lewis went on to beat Holyfield,Tyson himself,Briggs,Tua,Grant and Vitali before it was all said and done......much more impressive than ANYONE Tyson beat.Essentially the peaked at different eras,Tyson Late 80s and Lennox late 90s......was he moved along carefully and defintely learned his craft yes but so what look at the final result of his career.......Legend Undisputed Champ......Tyson is not remembered like that and won't be.Lennox>>>Tyson in the overall Picture.
