    Lennox Lewis

    Great or legend?

IMO Lennox is just smart for entering the HW devision when he did. He is great but there was something missing in his career to make him a legend. Anyone know what that is?

He stayed in the amateurs longer than everyone else and entered the HW scene when everything was dead.

.... I dont know but that seems like a pretty smart move to me.

I think the same thing but it's just that Lewis was so big and strong... He hand good boxing skills but IMO his size and strength is what made him so good.

Ok I half get you... But even if he turned Pro say 1 or 2 years earlier.. he still wouldn't have taken fights at world level right away.. he would have peaked around the same time regardless...
He did take on the BEST fighters of the 90's His fights against Tyson and Holyfield could have happened a little earlier IMO.. and That might be the missing ingridient you are Talking about..

I think he's definately a legend, he only has two losses and he avenged them both, he even avenged a robbery draw, he beat everyone else and he has a pretty damn good resume.

I think Lewis might of been scared to fight Tyson earlier. He just waited till Tyson was way passed his prime.

people always make Lewis out to be some coward after he completely dominated Tyson, like he didn't deserve the win or something.
