Couple points to address. First, the leaving out of Corrales and the others at 130 was intentional as i stated. "since leaving 130"

Corrales was not a p4p guy when they met, at that point, Floyd was the best corrales had ever faced. How the hell did that make Corrales p4p?

Again, SINCE LEAVING 130, Floyd has looked anything BUT spectacular and has managed to avoid any prime legit p4p champ. Not my fault, thats just what he has done.

Mayweathers skills are soooooo over rated it's sickening. Thats not to say Hatton is the second comming, but atleast the man comes to fight!@!!!!

I for one am Happy this fight got made, and unlike most of Floyds delusional fanbase think it was an error on Floyds part. His ego has landed him in a similar situation as Jones did with Tarver. The comparison to Jones is accurate. Both have fought a slew of hand picked oppoutunists fights en route to fame and fortune. both hijacked the p4p title with strings of uneventful meager opponents and claimed greatness in the process.

Jones deserved what he got, and Mayweather is not far behind. I think Hatton is gonna shake up alot of peoples over inflated opinions just as Taylor and Tarver did before him.

You must dont remember what Chico use to be. Chico was maybe the scariest fighter in the game when Floyd fought him. Most people picked him to win. He had crazy height with insane power. He had one of the best resume's around and was knocking out top guys in just a few rounds. He was a straight up killer. That Chico at 130 would kill Pac and all those other guys right now

i think you have to look at the time period that floyd fought him in, at the time, even i myself thought floyd might not make it 12 against chico because he was knockin cats out left and right. alot of you guys dont remember how big that fight was in the division because floyd made him look absolutely terrible

While its not smart to compare hatton to gatti, on the other hand, everyone floyd has ever faced that had a suspect or bad defense has gotten the beating of their life and hatton will likely NOT be the exception to that rule.

I believe he fought Castillo at 135, so yes, he should be included. Both fights where not cakewalks for Floyd now that u mention it. Castillo was a good fighter at that point, but i think too many people inflate him based on the chico affairs. So yes, castillo should be included!


As to what prime elite fighter has Hatton Faced? None that i know of. Never said he did, infact said both resumes where equally non descript in the same time fame. I do not have a great fondness for Hatton either, but i do believe he comes to fight and has a skill set capable of dismantling Floyd. Thats all!!!

I think he does for the simple fact that no one can go toe to toe with Chico unless there clearly bigger, e****ally at 130 where he would decapitate guys. It would be a super exciting fight though but I think Chico stops him in 3 rounds in a Hagler-Hearns type fight
