Better yet, find me a pro boxer that can slam like the following:

    Matt Hughes
    Karo Parisyan
    Rampage Jackson
    Matt Lindland
    Kevin Randleman
    Sean Sherk
    Dan Severn
    Ken Shamrock
    Tito Ortiz
    Randy Couture

Show me a pro boxer that can make you tap within a split second like the following:

    Fedor Emelianenko
    Royce Gracie
    Renzo Gracie
    All the other Gracies
    Ken Shamrock
    BJ Penn
    Matt Hughes
    Karo Parisyan
    Gonzaga
And if you wanted to go tit-for-tat then I invite you to find me an MMA guy who can take a punch like the following.....

    Carlos Baldomir
    James Toney
    Bernard Hopkins
    Shane Mosley
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Ricky Hatton
    Vitali Klitschko
    Sam Peter

Or an MMA guy who can defend against punches like the following....

    Winky Wright
    Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    Joe Calzaghe
    Bernard Hopkins
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Shane Mosley

Or any MMA guy who had as much heart as guys like Diego Corrales, Arturo Gatti, or Erik Morales.

Of course going tit-for-tat boxing vs. MMA never gets anything accomplished and I think you'll find it almost as futile as wishing the 2 sports could just get along.

The problem is that it looks very sloppy and amatuerish.
To go back to your quote, UFC is not like a great chef who is a master at all cuisine. Its more like a line cook who can grill a decent steak, make okay sushi, not too good with italian, sufficient with thai. Id rather eat a perfect burger.

MMA fighters don't even punch that power machine so I don't know.

Also, MMA fighters don't worry too much about taking punches because THERE IS OTHER STUFF TO WORRY ABOUT.

Winky Wright is susceptible to the takedown!!!! What can Mayweather's defense do when he is getting kicked in the face repeatedly?????? Do you see my point? Damn, stop being so arrogant.

Oh and about the heart thing:
        Chris Leben
Forrest Griffin(the Arturo Gatti of MMA)
Fedor(it's more composure than heart but still)
        Stephan Bonnar

^ and all of them can take punches.

Dude, chill the **** out I wasn't being arrogant I was making a point. Boxing and MMA are 2 totally different combat sports that have a place in this world and in it's fans hearts. My sarcasm at the end of my last post was clearly lost on you, take a ****ing Xanax and chill out. I was merely pointing out how pointless it is to compare the 2 sports.

You act as if I just **** on your mom's head.

I agree, but this MMA-Boxing debate is useless.

It's like saying Randy Moss can beat Kobe Bryant in basketball because Moss is faster and can lay it up. Completely not what would really happen and is a ******ed debate.

You cant kick on the ground in UFC, I really like the points Dutch was making on the Video. UFC fan boys always say

"boxers arent fighters they are boxers"

"boxing is useless because its not close to a streetfight like UFC is"

              Ed Made some great points

"there are no gloves in a street fight"

"there is no ref standing guys up"

UFC fan boys love to bash boxing and say MMA is so much more then boxing, when its only been around for like 15 years and lets take a look at some of its best fighters.

Randy Couture fight record 15 - 8 Guys currently the UFC heavyweight champ and is 44 years old, Talk about the cream of the crop.

Matt Serra Current UFC champ Record 9 -4 Need I say more

I like both sports and watch both But am Tired of UFC fanboys taking shots at boxing, Its funny when someone says something intelligent back they get all mad and offended.

He's made many points I've always preached. Especially the one about the champions keep going around like a circle. I've always believed any champ in UFC is ripe for the picking against any opponent. That's why I dun feel it's as skillful. They aren't using technique that makes you think that guy can never be beaten or he'll be champ for awhile.

In regards to Ed, he's awesome. It's surprising to see someone make such good points and understandable points getting interviewed right out of the blue like that. Most people can't think straight or put enough knowledgeable information out so fast and well together like that. He's def the man. No ****.

First of all, The Bringer was not being arrogant.

He was calmly owning your ass.

Second of all, you need not even pose the question of MMA fighters punching a machine - anybody with a ****ing brain and half a clue alread knows the answer.

Ed O'Neill has dedicated a great deal of his personal time and energy to MMA and look what he has to say about it.

The bastardization of MMA reveals itself here through your senseless and emotional ranting. This is the very defintion of weak.

You sound like a ****ing idiot trying to argue with Mr. O'Neill and Bringer.

Objectively speaking; you got blown the **** out.

BTW, this is a Boxing forum. Take this **** downstairs or somewhere else.

You're clearly more concerned with tearing Boxing down and putting MMA on a pedastool.
