Mosley will be outworked, outlasted, outmuscled, and maybe even dropped by Cotto to the body, everyone is talking about his chin, Mosley's that is, but Cotto can hurt him to the body as well, which we know he dont like, good chin, but not that good of a rib cage.

like a Paul Williams, but I think Mosley is to old to seriously outwork Cotto, even though Cottos style could allow for Mosley to pull off tons of fan friendly combinations.

I do however, think Cotto can stop Mosley. Mosley is getting old, his legs can't possible all be there u know? I think some great body work early, with the work rate and power Cotto has, can really pay off in the late rounds. And Cotto may stop Mosley.

thoughts? Am i playing to much into Mosleys age do u think? Cause he did look damn good against Collazo... but lets remember that Collazo doesnt have a body attack, doesnt punch as hard, and doesnt have as high a work rate.
I did'nt think he would stop Vargas as easily the 2nd fight.....Cotto does'nt have the beard Vargas has.......while Vargas has been stopped it is usually from accumilation....althou he is suspect to the KD just like Cotto.

Tito nearly had him out with the very first left hook he landed on him, down twice in the first round, 4 times altogether. Wilfredo Rivera dropped him hard on the second round, DlH dropped him twice and so did SSM. Cotto has been dropped once by a push and never been KOd. How's Vargas chin better than Cotto's, I don't get it.

the fighters you mention happen to hit harder than Corley or Torres.......I'm just saying considering Vargas was fighting at 154 when Tito and DLH stopped him,Cotto is still a relative n00b at 147 and could prove not to be as durable chin wise as Vargas was.judah was a great stepping stone but you had to see Judah hurt him as well.......anyway my point was I could see Mosley stop cotto with one punch possibly.

Whether Rivera hits harder than Torres is your opinion, don't agree with it thou. In this league, anyone can hurt anyone and yes with one punch.

                    off-topic:

Scott Spezio is going into rehab. Rick Ankiel is taking his outfield spot.

this is a great match up, i think both guys can win, but i think that it would be an easier win and fight for cotto.

but with that being said, i'm going to sound like a scratched record here, but like i've said before, if mosley is to stun cotto, cotto is in some serious hot water, because i don't recall anyone getting stunned by mosley and not get out of the ring without being stopped. mosley is a finisher and he's probably the smartest and most gifted fighter that cotto has faced, and on the flip side i think cotto is the toughest fighter that mosley has faced. but mosley knows how to take advantage of the opportunities present, he knows how to expose any flaw and ***** in anyones armor. cotto does have defensive flaws, flaws that have had him on the canvas, flaws that have had cotto stunned and have had cotto reaching deep to find what he's made of, and he's pulled through, but that was against guys who don't have the talent, the skill, the patients, and the mind of mosley.

is mosley the fastest, hardest puncher that cotto has faced, who knows, that is arguable from any angle really. but mosley is the most complete package that cotto has faced. the guys that have beaten mosley were bigger than him, bigger and taller, and had a good defense.

winky had that turtle shell defense which was tough to crack, even for mosley, and mosley was the smaller guy, it was a bad match up for mosley style wise and size wise.

and forrest, was taller, longer reach and knew how to neutralize mosley with his jab and set him up. but the kicker when it came to forrest beating mosley were the clinches on the inside, especially in the second fight, forrest stopped all inside fighting with mosley and tied him up every time after he threw and got on the inside. mosley couldn't get anything off. cotto doesn't fight that way, which leaves him open more then if he did fight in a clinching manner.

all in all it's a good fight either guy can win, i think in this fight it's who gets there first..........
