I agree, I definitely see DLH fighting Cotto after Miguel gets done with Mosley. DLH is all about being opportunistic and greedy. The fight will sell extremely well and DLH will lose another big fight as usual.

Wright nearly stopped mosley as well. Had him in some trouble in the last round. Had he been a little more active he probably could have ended it.

Mosley dominated Collazo but was rocked twice by straight right hands.

If thats not enough evidence, consider the fact that Vargas was maybe on his way to victory if the fight had not be stopped due to that swelling.

Cotto can DEFINETLY stop Mosley. not question about it. Maybe if you watched a fight or two of Mosleys, u know a bit more about what u were talking about
If Forrest could've stopped him he would've. He sure as hell had the opportunity to but he couldn't. Wright didn't hurt him at all. I'm not sure what fight you were watching but Mosley wasn't in any kind of trouble in neither fight. The only person that was hurt was Winky when he let Mosley tee off on him in the second fight. Collazo landed 2 straight lefts but they didn't hurt Mosley or else he would've jumped on him. Anyway those were the only significant punches Collazo was able to land in the entire fight. Vargas on his way to victory? No, but he strung together several strong rounds in a row in the middle of the fight that made it closer only to make Mosley gain the momentum back by winning the last 2 rounds of the fight before it was stopped on a TKO. Sugar Shane has a damn good chin & the only time he was ever hurt was when Forrest landed an uppercut that nearly decapitated him. A punch that would've sent Cotto or any other Welterweight into Neverland had it landed the same way.

Yea, i guess i wasnt watching this fight... (1:50) (that was a knockdown in the closing seconds by the way, it was waved off.)

Im not saying MOsley was hurt, but had Wright been a little more active, which he CERTAINLY could have done, he would have stopped Mosley. He was just a cautious fighter up until now.

Mosley gained back the fight cause Vargas's eye was as big as his gloves. I give all the credit to Mosley for winning, but Vargas was doing damage as well.

I definetly agree with that last sentence. But again, if Cotto stops Mosley it'll have nothing to do with Mosleys chin. Cotto would just be wearing Mosley down round by round. Im not even saying Cotts gonna win, im giving mosley the edge to win the fight, but if cotto WERE to stop mosley, thats how it would happen.

I think you're mixing up Mosley being discouraged more than anything else. Mentally he was out of it & was a beaten man but I disagree with you that he could've finished him. Cotto will be trying to wear Sugar Shane down but you have to remember than Shane is a very good body puncher himself. This is the first time Cotto will be in the ring with someone that can dig to the body like Mosley & I'm curious to see how he's going to react when he gets hit hard to the body. The last time Cotto was in a war similar to what this fight might look like that was when he was at 140 against Lovmore N'Dou. That guy took everything Cotto had & was still in front of & ended up putting the pressure on Cotto making very uncomfortable.

I don't think Mosley is that old he still has great stamina.

Anyway that the winner of Hatton/Mayweather would fight the winner of this fight? That would be fun. Also how about Cintron/Williams, start bringing those belts togther, for someone like Cotto or Hatton to take.

Mosley's age may not have shown up in the ring yet but it's only a matter of time before it does and we all know that, the question is when? I didn't think "father time" would catch up to Hopkins so quickly but he looked like utter **** against Wright.

It's only natural to question an aging legend's ability to handle a rising, hungry powerpunching superstar.

I think Mosley caqn outwork Cotto, so long as he boxes on the outside. He could even buzz him a few times if he commits to his punching power. Cotto will definitely be the stalker, and Mosley the boxer. The question is can Shane go 12 rounds fending off someone as relentless as Cotto?

I see Mosley easily taking the first half of the fight, boxing from the outside, using the jab, and sitting down on his punches catching Cotto coming in. After that I think Mosley will not be able to maintain Cotto's pace, he's slowly but surely slow down, and take some serious bodywork on the inside. He'll come on strong in the championship rounds and possibly outpoint Cotto. I can't see either fighter getting knocked out.
I agree, good post, but Im hoping for Shane to win by KO, lol....

I dont think Cotto can rock Molsey either. MOsley has an outstanding chin.
kball dont know how you coming up with that scenerio.
cotto didnt have enough power to ko paulie. and mosleys a lot bigger.
