So true, Diego had more heart than anybody. You could combine the hearts of several gutsy fighters and still not get a heart the size of Chico. Goddamn I miss that guy, I think I always will. He was the first fighter to ever captivate me through the screen, when he lost it felt like I lost. When he won it felt like I won.

No, there aren't any american fighters who are warriors, just the thousands of cats that wake up before dawn and run 3-5 miles daily, and train 2-4 hrs daily and compete on amatuer, small and big shows, for money fame and recognition... fighting with broke noses, bruised hands, and other boxing related ailments, while you sit behind your monitor and doubt there warrior spirit, no not at all...

the only one i can think of that is still fighting is gatti. all the rest dont have the heart to go toe to toe and go to war for the fans.
