Holyfield is your best candidate, and I can really see a case for him. The Bowe fights really made me love the guy, so yeah, I'd say he's a pretty strong candidate. Mosley was a warrior in his fights with Oscar and Forrest, and I'm pretty sure he'll be one against Cotto too.

I'm just making mere comparison, when compared to Marco Antonio Barrera or Erik Morales, most guys come up short. Perhaps I'm making an unfair comparison though.

I hope you're right. I don't hate Taylor, he just really let me down. I respect him as a fighter but I just don't respect his ability much right now. He hasn't been tested in a while, and was talking of only fighting for the most money, becoming a middleweight Mayweather in essence. I don't wish Taylor harm, I'm just hoping that Kelly pressures the **** out of him so I can finally see what's underneathe Taylor's breast plate. Know what I mean?

Both had career defing fights just like Corrales/Castillo and recently Vasquez and Rafa. Holyfield had his againts Bowe. Shanes againts DLH, Forrest, Winky and Taylor againts B-hop and wright showed alot of character but pales in comparison if your using Barrera and Morales as a barrometer.

Taylor is young and I think his fight againts Pavlik will be a good candidate for being a defining fight for either. I see a war in that one.

Holyfield is definitely a warrior. There isn't much debating that. He's not what he was, but he's a warrior. Jason Litzau is our best "warrior" type now though. We don't have much for the mindless brawlers. It is harder to do that at 147 and up when you start fighting men who can send you to the hospital on a two punch combo and not boys, which is where our general populace most obviously resides. We're too big for the warrior weight classes.

The opposite of this is the reason why the Mexicans are so beloved in the boxing universe. They are little. They can repeatedly hit each other for 10 rounds and probably won't have the power to knock each other out, but they'll give us a damn fun ride!

Being a warrior is bad for your health.

well once you are stepped in the ring you are a warrior are you a mexician Amercian ? or mexician from the North?

The deal is people train hard so in the ring they look impressive.

you are losing my respect and for other people by putting these foolish posts.

have you ever trained boxing to talk like that?

Holyfield - Not even a question, that guy just ****ing fights.
Corrales - Obviously a warrior too, never backed down, born and raised in LA too, we get to claim him for US.
