    Same.

I'd pick Malignaggi to win a decision, but It wouldn't be out of the question that Jr could rock him a few times and get him out of his gameplan.....and make the fight ugly with body work.

1 thing is for sure, and that's Paulie's speed and boxing ability. If he stayed on the outside he should win a decision using lateral movement.

But if he lapses, I don't think many people would like to take the left hook to the liver that Jr dishes out. That's for sure........because it's nasty.

He showed great heart against Cotto. So that automatically means he's proved himself? I give him tons of credit and he's a slick boxer with a solid chin and good work ethic. Right.

He'd be fighting a guy 4-5 inches taller who might outweigh him by 20 + pounds come fight time and the boy can punch on top of that.

People are acting like Paulie is some sledgehammer when it's the ****in opposite way around. Jr is huge for his weight class.
some of these guys just jump at any opportunity to discredit a mexican boxer. to say malignaggi is 10x more proven is a joke. chavez has beaten the same level of opponents and he has power in both hands and a body attack that paulie already showed he cant handle.

From the little of what i have seen of the two fighters i would say that Malignaggi is a much better fighter. However, Chavez Jr. really is much bigger and i doubt he will countinue to fight at the weight he is fighting right now at for much longer. As he gets older he will have a hard time to countinue to make wait. And beside, at the "speed" he is fighting now, he wont be challange for a title within the 3 nexy years. He really needs to step it up.

I doubt he will do that, he will probably countinue tha choose soft opponents, and try to challange who ever is consider the weakest belt holder when he is ready. If he ever will be ready. Sure Paulie hasnt fought legendary opponnets, but fighting Cotto shwed at least he will try to fight the best and showed he doenst have a glas jaw at least.

Malignaggi is a better boxer and has fought better competition than JC jr, but let's not forget that JC jr does have good skills and is the stronger and BIGGER fighter. Even if Malignaggi were to win, I see still think it would be a very tough fight for him.

I think Paulie would take it, I don't really think Chavez has been tested, it would not be easy for Paulie though.

Isn't chavez jr in an entirely different weight class??? I know chavez jr would not come down to fight Malignaggi... Chavez jr already looks like a stick figure at 154

chavez is two divisions above him and should really be fighting at middleweight, i doubt he could make 140.
