He should just stay at the division he is good at. Its possible hes the best 140 pounder in the sport, and he has a lot of momentum.

it is clear to anyone who has been following the career of chavez jr. that he is ready to end fight the best. his body attack and power are devestating and he has shown that he can use his size advantage more and more. my only concern is if he can make 140 anymore. if chavez jr. can make the weight comfortably he will knock malignaggi out.

Be real man, Chavez is an overprotected fighter, has been fighting scrubs and already got a gift decision when he drew against a fighter that I don't even remember his name...Paulie has proven himself 10X more...

              Arum: Bring on Malignaggi!

              BOB ARUM STATEMENT:

"I have read with interest Paulie Malignaggi's statement calling out Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Paulie is a great kid who fought a very courageous fight against Miguel Cotto. Unfortunately for Paulie, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. would clean Paulie's clock if they ever fought. If Paulie is really serious, he should have his promoter Lou DiBella contact me so we can arrange a fight between the two next year either at Madison Square Garden or at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles."

Paulie's opposition is way better than Julio's, not too complicated to figure out that if they were to fight, Paulie would be a big favorite to win...

No, No he hasn't "proved himself 10x more".

He showed great heart against Cotto. So that automatically means he's proved himself? I give him tons of credit and he's a slick boxer with a solid chin and good work ethic. Right.

He'd be fighting a guy 4-5 inches taller who might outweigh him by 20 + pounds come fight time and the boy can punch on top of that.

People are acting like Paulie is some sledgehammer when it's the ****in opposite way around. Jr is huge for his weight class.

No, No it's not. Outside of a losing effort against Cotto and 1 victory over "Lovemore Ndou" he hasn't really done anything.

Jr has knocked out the kind of guys paulie wins decisions over.

well thats because Malignaggi doesnt knock guys, where as Chavez jr does.

I think its a fairly even fight, and a very good fight at that. im leanging towards malignaggi though
