So you really believe a guy with five knockouts, the last coming in 2003 can test Junior's chin? Thats the whole point here, Chavez' size will allow him to have his way with Paulie, not his boxing ability or experience pure size and power. Arum is a great matchmaker, dont think they want this fight without knowing they can win. Arum didnt want Williams for Margarito for a reason, Bob knows what he is doing, he builds fighters up. Paulie is a good name yet too small and no power to pull off a win at 147.
Arum didnt want Williams beating Margy either...still make sense?

Its called boxing not knock-outs. If can stay on his feet w/Cotto I think he can take CJR's "blinding power." You can look good against bums.

Just cuz a punch looks like gangbusters...sounds like gangbusters...dont mean its even g**** busters.

I never seen cotto do real damage to his opponents face.

I have never seen him land a hard shot to the head where it left the opponent stumbling and out.

JCC jr name alone is more then enough to out sell paullie in a fight againts a big name.
You need to watch some Cotto highlights...they show them before every fight...its called a montage.

Malignaggis name is bigger tha CJRs in the game atm.

CJR's got no name...hes got his dads name.

Ya he didnt want him because he knew it was a bad match-up, Margarito is Arums fighter and he loss, where as if he had listened to Bob, he would still have his belt. Dont think they're gonna let Jr get in there with someone that can beat him so easy. This fight is good because people like you are talking Paulie up and if he loses then you have to give Junior credit and Junior would have a win over a former world champion under his belt. Now Junior losing isnt likeley because of the size, so its not that big of a risk for Junior but looks good, promoter's dream.

What dont you get, you move up seven pounds people are going to hit a lot harder. Cotto looked dead at the weigh in for that fight, he wasnt even at full strength, no surprise he quickly moved up after that fight. Seven pounds to a feather fisted fighter is going to be problems i dont understand how you cant see that. I think Paulie is the second best 140lber in the game but that doesnt carry up when you go up in weight like that.

lmao guarantee you paulie doesnt out sell jcc jr. Paulie's fan base is pretty much new york lol jr has them all over the states and definetly all of mexico dont try to compare this nobody to a legends son. Yes that is why he is so popular he is a legends son that is not his fault. Point is he has a name and its bigger then paulies. oscar vs jcc jr sells more then oscar vs paulie. outside of new york paulie is a no-name.

Ok sure...great match maker. Arum wanted it, if he didnt he wouldnt have repped Margy.

If Arum didnt want it then why did it happen?

I like this kid Paulie. Regardless of him winning or not, he is good for the sport. He fights, and takes on challenges. He does not duck and dodge fighters and he says what is on his mind. He shoots straight.

                      Whats not to like?
