well of course now, beckham is not as good as he used to be, plus he had the injury in his leg, at one point in his career he was considered the best player in the world by many. and he took the media by storm, his wife made her own TV show, now hes a household name in USA.

well I don't think he is better than Zidane or Ronaldo, and when he was at his peak, Ronaldinho was not a big namer like he is now, and i think he had the most accurate shot in the world, he had better foul shots then Henry, believe me. i think beckhams great foul shots made him one of the best in the world.

Beckham was for a few years considered the best right sided midfielder in the world...without a doubt....and all your doing is pointing out peple who play in different positions.....btw figo has always lacked pace..and altho he posseses quality in his feet.and is strong and can dribble..never has the passing skill set of beckham..infact none of the players u have mentioned above do....but yes ronaldhino was the best soccer player in the world 2004-2005 ...however zidane is the best player out of that bunch...class (kobe and iverson rolled into one )

lol...tough?..it was a couple of weeks ago..tehre was a rugby player from new zealand who was having headaches...he went to the dctor...didnt know what was wrong with him..so they had his head x-rayed..and it was found that he had an opponents tooth lodged in his head..and he had been walking around for months without even realising...u see its actual physical contact...head to head, shoulder to shoulder,arm to arm..not pad to pad,helmet to helmet...thats like saynig if a boxer wore a helmet into a ring n boxed...he'd be tougher then one who didnt..they are very similar sports..expect its not so stop n start in rugby..and its more free flowing...and quicker (hence why i think its more exciting)....but the knocks u take in american football are watered down because of the equipment/pads/helmets used...so you saying they are tougher...doesnt really hold much water....maybe they are tougher..but they need to prove it by gettnig rid of the pads n helmets...n running into a 6'11 monster of a kiwi at full pelt....

True. Corporate sponsors do run the sports world, and the sheeple are manipulated by the media. If the US media promoted and hyped great boxers like Hatton and Wladimir Klitschko, they would become very popular in America.
