The last thing Im going to say is this. There 1st fight didnt even finish 7 rounds and this fight didnt even finish 6. Stop keep overdoing it with all this brutality talk. The fight got stopped early in the 6th round. The fight wasnt even halfway over. Its not like all those other wars that went 10 and 12 full rounds. Its nothing compared to that. Stop acting like these guys took life threatning punishment because they didnt. This wasnt a guy who was in the 11th round, tired, beat up, and didnt know what to do. Thats how you guys are trying to make it sound and its not true at all. The fight was overrated from a brutality standpoint anyone. It just makes it look worst because these guys cut so easy. There wasnt a ton of hard clean shots like Castillo-Chico, Gatti-Ward, or many other fights. It was a good hard battle but its nothing like the death sentence you guys are trying to make it out to be

DLT I usually agree with you on alot of points but here you're wrong. The no leg reference you keep hearing is a valid point. Marquez had no legs for about 3 rounds fron the hard body & head shots he absorbed. If your legs are gone then it's just a matter of time before the fighter gets stopped. Marquez might've been throwing back but as you saw it didn't stop or slow down Izzy from attacking. You should know that fighters with no legs can't defend themselves either. Examples. Hagler vs Hearns, Pacquiao vs. Morales II (and Morales took a terrible beating).Comment

I just dont compare Marquez to those guys. I think he couldve got there but I dont think he was there yet. I also wasnt talking about the legs as far as rounds go. I was just talking about strictly in the 5th round when he stumbled. I dont think he was wobbly enough yet or for long enough to stop it. Your right, his punches didnt slow Izzy down but he still wasnt all the way back fresh yet. He still caught him with a couple of solid shots. Thats another huge reason why I didnt like the stoppage. Anyone who knows boxing knows that the time you are most vulnerable is when you are going for a KO against a big puncher. I could definatly see Izzy running in there blind and Raffy catching him with that 1 shot that stops him in his tracks just like Chico did Castillo. Everytime I see stuff like that I scream at the offensive fighter to be very careful before you walk into something while your trying to end it.DLT I usually agree with you on alot of points but here you're wrong. Now as far as the legs go over 3 rounds. I dont know if I agree with that. No doubt Izzy was the bigger & stronger man. It was a good back & forths battle and he was losing a little of legs every round but I dont think Izzy was much better. He also was getting hit with mad combos and big shots. He even got stopped in his tracks a few times. Marquez legs werent great over the last 3 rounds but its not like Izzy's was much better. For a second in the 5th it looked like Raffy was going to end the fight. I just think that in those types of fights you have to let it be more definitive. Again, Im not saying that he should go until Marquez just drops. Im just saying that he wasnt clearly finished yet and Izzy didnt have a great enough follow up after the knock down to stop that fight yet. I definatly couldve changed my mind in 10 more seconds but he shouldve had that chance because I still think that its very well possible that Raffy couldve got his legs back and wouldve been fine. Not perfect but stableComment
