I agree with you to an extent. He is no where near the most over rated boxer in the history of the sport. But I have always felt he got more credit than he deserved in the sport.

There's a reason why he got so many great title shots, its cause he busted his ass to get there. And only Hopkins (who's a ****in giant compared to him) was able to put him out. De la hoya is one of the few fighters keeping the sport going, he's always fought the best, if you fight top-class fighters you're bound to lose a few.

You can't argue with mayweather being one the most skilled boxers of all time. to say mayweathers career-best win is againts him might or might not be pushing it. This was not a tough fight for him he won it pretty easily.
