Julio Cesar Chavez was 34 when he fought De La Hoya and De La Hoya was like 22 or 23.. Thats like your boy Fraud Mayweather fighting De La Hoya now... Theres no difference other then the fact that Chavez got TKO'd.

Oscar had no business fighting Hopkins.. Hopkins can make Light Heavy if he wanted to.. But he put up a fight.

And then the Last Shane fight was contreversial and the Tito fight was too so I don't see why your talking.

Even if you take away the wins that should have been losses his record is better then Floyds.
Why yes, you do have a point there Sin! This statement right here should be the end of the thread!

Agreed about the Gatti-Ward trilogy being overrated, and only the first fight being great.

But the third Barrera-Morales fight was excellent.

Also beat a very weak no skill having mayorga, a smaller vargas. Delahoya in my opinion is the most overrated boxer in boxing history! His biggest success is bringing in money not being one of the best fighters of all time.
no DLH is not the most overrated fighter of all time how can you say such a ****** thing

            • I spoke to a few boxing analysts and they felt as though he was overrated. But he's good for boxing. They're not going to come out on national tv and say he an "ok" boxer. They'll say he is one of the best because Oscar sells tickets. That's the bottom line. No boxing expert has ever claimed Oscar to be the best pound for pound at any time in his carreer.

I know people who think that Oscar has never lost a fight.

              • No, Ike Ibeabuchi is the most overrated fighting in the history of boxing.

If you ask anyone they think he's the greatest heavyweight to have ever laced up a pair of gloves, yet he has two wins:

                1. A knockout over a blown up middleweight

                2. A questionable/controversial win over a prime slugger where all he did was plod forward and throw nonstop jabs while eating leather.

                    Like who? Blind, deaf mutes?

Have they watched the Hopkins fight? Or the first Mosley fight? Or any fight, for that matter?

bhop ya you could argue that but dlh has done so much with just plain skill

hes not fast not strong just very smart

in my mind hes hands down the most skilled in boxing
How is he more skilled than Mosely and Mayweather and they both beat him, even with a size and power disadvantage? You make no sense. And Hopkins is a lot more crafty, not to mention that he knocked him out. LMAO at DLH's irrational ass fans..
