Just read the thread going on about him losing all the big fights and i have always thought what has this ****er done..... he just has a good fan base and is someone "you can like" lol but in reality he did lose all his big fights, beat an onld chavez and camacho, got beat up by strum, and got two decisions handed and to him in a gift box with a bow on top againts quartey and pernell. Also beat a very weak no skill having mayorga, a smaller vargas. Delahoya in my opinion is the most overrated boxer in boxing history! His biggest success is bringing in money not being one of the best fighters of all time.
grat post..oscar is not some legendary ATG because he never beat an elite prime fighter. He lost a close fioght to trinidad because he ran away for four rounds, he lost to quartey but git a gift, he lost to sweet pea but got a gift. Hoya has never shown the fire to beat top elite fighters, in the floyd fight he was scared to exchange with floyd in the middle of the ring, and that's why he loses most of his big fights.

.....that doesnt sound like a guy who was that pleased with his performance. I wouldnt be either, especially if I was the younger and faster guy hand pickin old fighters to run through, only to end up with just about a even fight with one of those very same old fighters I hand picked lol.

Floyds too little to work Oscar, and Floyd's too little for Oscar to **** on. But Oscar did manage to put the hand speed on Floyds little ass, wich is more impressive to see then a few back to back pot shots from Floyd.

lol Yeah, we know...Floyd is fast.
how do u consider a fight close when ur opponents landing percentage is double yours. and mayweather would have done it again for the money and money only dlh dont want it because he knows it will be the same result.

DLH established himself as an ATG YEARS ago. He wants to end his career with an all out war, not pot shotting and moving. THAT is his problem with Floyd is that Floyd already established himself as an elite, but won't do anything to excite people but nerds that think boxing is nuclear science or something.

actually his trainer was telling him take it easy after the 7th round. Dlh was winning the fight and instead of conitnuing it and maybe stopping him he chose to run lmao.

How the **** is DLH an ATG?

I think too many people dont want to let him go because Mayweather and other 'villians' of boxing will soon be the face of it.

lol Again, you must not be watchin the fights. Just readin the compubox the same way you just read the L's on Oscars paper.

Floyd hit Oscar's gloves more then he hit Oscar. Oscar was pickin off and catchin those baby fists for like the first 4 or 5 rounds. Compubox, with their brilliant way of tracking punches, counted all those as landed punches, and you abandon your own use of vision, and decide to recite to me the compubox....lol Again, get some Oscar fights on your DVD player, and make sure you actually watch the Mayweather fight.

Gil Clancy said "box, box", but never told him to run. The corner said "no more rounds like that" to Oscar after the 10th.

But Oscar was tired, and Tito is a big puncher, so he did what he felt was right.

You can blame Oscar or you can blame the judges. I thought DLH won although it was closer than people often say it was.

Ask any boxing pro or analyst i have heard it many times and its just common sense. The point is TO HIT AND NOT GET HIT. mayweather does that best RJJ was pretty good at it too untill he started to decline. Dlh doesn't have the foot work, hip movement, reactions, or speed to be as great defensively as he can be offensively so people turn around and try to say mayweather runs lmao. and mayweather does not run. he out throws his opponents almost every fight. and if you call circling your opponent or turning ur shoulder to roll a punch..... running your ****ing pathetic. mayweather fights off the ropes as much as he does in the middle of the ring how is that running. people cant land and he is too slick, they cant come up with anything else but to say he runs lmao.

And what was Oscar doing those 7 or 8 final rounds? Eating them.
