Floyd hit Oscar's gloves more then he hit Oscar. Oscar was pickin off and catchin those baby fists for like the first 4 or 5 rounds. Compubox, with their brilliant way of tracking punches, counted all those as landed punches, and you abandon your own use of vision, and decide to recite to me the compubox....lol Again, get some Oscar fights on your DVD player, and make sure you actually watch the Mayweather fight.
LMAO AT YOUR REPLIES ABOUT DLH BLOCKING ALL THOSE PUNCHES. Delahoya didnt land anything on mayweather. So your going to tell me dlh landed more punches then mayweather and that dlh landed the cleaner harder, crispier punches lmao. how bout u watch the fight again in slow motion and count all times dlh swung and hit air or shoulder.

Dlh doesn't have the foot work, hip movement, reactions, or speed to be as great defensively as he can be offensively so people turn around and try to say mayweather runs lmao. and mayweather does not run. he out throws his opponents almost every fight. and if you call circling your opponent or turning ur shoulder to roll a punch..... running your ****ing pathetic. mayweather fights off the ropes as much as he does in the middle of the ring how is that running. people cant land and he is too slick, they cant come up with anything else but to say he runs lmao.
Jim Lampley said it to Mayweather's face that people want to see Floyd go toe to toe. Larry Merchant doesn't even respect Floyd. Joe Tessitore responded sarcastically when Floyd said he went toe to toe with Oscar. Teddy Atlas thinks Floyd runs/moves alot more than he needs to. Not many people like all this excessive moving.

lol The **** are you on? Only thing I said is Floyd's landing percentage your callin out, is bull****. Oscar picked those baby fists out of the air.

"I'm impressed with how easily Oscar's catchin his punches." Manny Steward. I wasn't the only one who saw that **** happening..

But if you wanna talk about Oscar's punches, as weak as those pot shots were from floyd, you'd have to be a hypocrite to not count Oscar's flurrys. ESPECIALLY if your seriously considering counting how many times Oscar picked off Floyd's baby fists as "landed punches."

Floyd's little'ness, lol @ that word, and his ability to only throw pot shots hurt him in this fight. Cause Oscar could snatch those pot shots up, and the ones that landed were no more then mosquito bites.

Technically, the only thing impressive about this fight was seein Oscar unleash his hand speed at this age against the supposed "p4p."

ODLH all time overrated in the history of boxing, you’re a joke Mr. Rogelio. Oscar has fought everyone that matters from 130 to 160, he has never ducked anyone. You can Hate him because he is rich and good looking but can't hate his fight game. So how is Oscar overrated exactly in your world? How is it possible for a fighter to fight half of his fights against former or current champions and be considered overrated. The reason why he has losses on his record is because he took on CHALLENGES against opponents with EQUAL or BETTER talent. The majority of hate towards Oscar comes from his welterweight days but look at who he fought. He took on Trinidad which Oscar won, Quartey; Oscar won by a point, Whitaker close win for Oscar and lost to Mosley 7-5. Name another fighter in recent memory who comes close to fighting that level of competition and taking those risks. He could've played it safe and picked his opponents and beat up on GAttis , Brusseles,Sosas,Mitchell's of the world and proclaimed himself the greatest of all time but he didn't. Since you are a Mayweather fan are you saying that MAyweather's resume is superior to Oscar's?I hope you really don't think so because Oscars fights at welterweight alone are more impressive than Mayweather’s whole career.

great post, there is no reason why oscar should be called overrated, he has one of the best resumes out there and he beat some real tough competition.

I wont lie...I used to mega-hate on DLH. When he beat Tito is when I gave respect. Dude fought ill names...check his resume and compare it to Hattons.

delahoya lost all those big fights. does it matter that he fought them no. dlh brings in money i dont hate on that and that is the reason all those fights happenned because they made money. Your overlooking the facts that he lost every big fight he was in. Please dont count chavez, camacho, vargas, mayorga big wins. the two wins he did get in big fights were very debatable. the only debatable fight floyd been in was against jlc and won the rematch easily. dont give him to much credit were talking about who he actually beat that made him an "atg" not who he fought. and the answer is he didnt beat anyone but an old chavez, camacho, vargas, and mayorga. and delahoya has a just as much nobodies on his record as floyd. who is there for floyd to fight tell me?? hes fighting hatton, he wil fight mosley no need to fight cotto, cotto stands no chance but should fight him just to shut people like u up.

Im still wondering how Vargas moved up from Junior Middleweight to fight Oscar at 154, haha. I honestly dont think this guy has seen Oscar fight in the 90's or the begining of this decade.

DLH deserves all respect, exactly for having fought all the best. He has lost his bigger fights but never in a faction you'd say he was outclassed. He did lose the fight to Mayweather but I'd say Marciano is the most overated fighter in the history, not DLH by any means.
