ok... DLH beat Mayorga, Vargas, Sturm, Castillejo, Quartey, Whitaker, Chavez. Who did Mayweather beat that comes close to that record, let alone the close decisions he got with Mosley and Trinidad which could have gone either way.

delahoya has a just as much nobodies on his record as floyd. who is there for floyd to fight tell me?? hes fighting hatton, he wil fight mosley no need to fight cotto, cotto stands no chance but should fight him just to shut people like u up.
I think its you that needs tu STFU sonny.
DLH beat Tito...I dont care who says what. DLH could say he lost it and I still wont hear it.
I do agrree Ike beat DLH and DLH got the nod. Those 2 fights cancel themselves out legacy wise and to anyone that knows boxing.

Cannot agree with this thread, OK he has lost most of his 'biggest' fights but in most of those fights with perhaps the exception of Hopkins DLH was more than competitive.
You cannot win, the likes of Calzaghe gets slagged for not hunting down big fights yet DLH seem to a have a huge fight every time out.
To win 5 titles at 5 different weights in only 43 fights is nothing more than miraculous!
Also his losses came against Trinidad, Mosely, Hopkins and Mayweather so......?

He was p4p 1 cuz RJj was dominating the charts then. Gaha
I'm not cheerleading for DLH...I'm being objective and shooting down your credibility in the mean time.

Mr. Rogelio don't know Boxing. Oscar made undefeated Genaro Hernadez quit 3 yrs before Mayweather fought Hernandez. He made Ruelas head look like a Pez dispenser, schooled undefeated 2 division champ M.A Gonzalez, all his fights at welterweight were against Ring ranked opponents and won them all.
He made Chavez quit, he mugged Gatti 5 yrs before Mayweather fought him for a paper title(Mayweather's words)he shut **** talking steroid taking Vargas mouth. Oscar's time has passed as it does for every fighter that has ever laced up the gloves, nothing is forever. He was once one of the best in the world but now someone else will take the torch and hopefully represent it the way Oscar did. Their is something that you seem to lack and that is knowledge of the sport called boxing my son, let your father teach you. All fighters no matter what era have lost big fights but that doesn't take away from their achievements. Sugar RAy Robinson,Henry Armstrong ,Ali , Pep, Louis ,Charles,Saddler, Ross, Basilio all atg great fighters with losses in big fights. An undefeated record does not neccesarily make a great fighter , a fighter that fights knowing that he could lose is what makes him great.

don't just everyone wishes to be the overrated boxer of all time,
and also the #1 box office....I'd rather have that legacy than anything, who cares about the rest once you make your money and all your fights are sell-outs you have almost every boxer calling you out just for the pay day, life is good
