Hagler was a great fighter,.... the best though i just cant give him that billing, he lost to SRL a former WW champ, i honestly believe that had Hearns not broke his hand in the Hagler fight he would have pulled the win off too, also i look at fighters like Roy Jones Jr. and James Toney in there primes and at the MW ranks and dont know if Hagler could get a hold of Jones or figure out Toney and think he would have ultimatley been outclassed by Roy and outworked by Toney!

Toney was pretty inconsistent at 160, still improving as a fighter, and had plenty of trouble dealing with Reggie Johnson's southpaw jab. Hagler's southpaw jab was one of the best ever.

No one outclasses Hagler. He was too complete and good all-around to be outclassed.

And this is not coming from a big fan, Hagler was my least favorite of the Fab 4.

But he WAS great, a complete prizefighter.

Hagler was good but I dont think he beats a prime Hopkins. He definatly doesnt kill him like alot of you say. I think most on here forget how much of a monster Hopkins was in his prime. He was old skool. People who say that Hagler was so much stronger are kidding themselves. Hopkins was man handling the strongest cats out there. I would pay anything to see that fight but I would go with Hopkins. One thing Hagler had going for him was that he was a Southpaw but Hopkins fights lefty's better then anyone in history

If taylor was so bad, he wouldn't have performed as well as he did against hopkins and wright. The division is packed with talent at the minute.

i'm not going to bother trying to argue with you, you're obviously another fan who's stuck in the past.
There are plenty of fans who believe that taylor won all three fights. I had him winning both of his fights against hopkins and drawing with wright. Hopkins was hardly throwing at all in both fights, i don't see how anyone could've given him the verdict in either.
