Over here, It would be just another fight. The majority of people I know have no clue who Hatton is and would never pay to see a Mayweather fight again. So, right here and right now - you give me the precise figures for these hosting fees for the referred to Las Vegas casinos, your knowledge that the other sites where these fights can take place outside Las Vegas offer no other direct financial benefit whatsoever, and how the numbers break down in relationship with each other. So only AFTER Las Vegas was out of the biding war was Memphis able to compete and secure the fight. I believe its safe to say that if it was in Las Vegas they would've received more.

It has little to do with the fans in attendance. Its sponsors and PPV money. Having the fight at 2am is going to lose a lot of money, plus the money lost from sponsors and casinos is huge. You can't honestly believe the fans are the ones who supply most of the money for a fight like this? Are you that naive?
