i say they'll have it in vegas, and if so, if they are smart they'll have it at the thomas and mack. its the biggest spot unless they fought at sam boyd stadium in vegas, but i highly doubt that................

I totally disagree. I think the refere choice will have an bigger impact on this fight than whether its held in UK or Vegas.

Also the fight will be in Vegas, not for any percieved fight advantage but simply because it makes more money in Vegas.

First off below you stated that Hatton's chances decrease if it is some where like the MEN Arena. That doesn't matter unless your insinuating that a ref in the MEN Arena would allow more hitting and holding otherwise I dont see how Mayweathers chances of winning are decreased by this venue.

In my mind I have to agree. Mayweather's chances decrease in the view of all levels of observers if it takes place somewhere like the MEN Arena..

Second, Vegas makes more money because they BID on the fights. Individual Casino's and groups of Casino's BID and PAY to have fights in or near there Casino's.

They pay ten's of millions of dollars because of the influx of added revenue that weekend will generate due to the crowds that come. Casino's make back hundreds of millons in return from rented rooms and gamblers.

This is why ALL the big fights are in Vegas because other Venues which have larger seating capacities cannot out bid the Casino's if its a Mega fight.

Regarding your clever little workup on Vegas; that may work on someone who doesn't already know all these facts (and more) - hell, it may even work in trying to argue this out over venues anywhere in the continental United States or elsewhere.. But this is the UK we're talking about. Tell me again how a fight in Las Vegas is more lucrative than a worldwide superfight held in a "football stadium" with over (some have projected) 60,000 fans in attendance and ALL the same numbers on PPV and network everywhere else?..

No, if it was in the UK it would be fought at regular PPV times in the US and be fought at around 2am in UK. i.e. Hatton-Tzu
