Regarding your clever little workup on Vegas; that may work on someone who doesn't already know all these facts (and more) - hell, it may even work in trying to argue this out over venues anywhere in the continental United States or elsewhere.. But this is the UK we're talking about. Tell me again how a fight in Las Vegas is more lucrative than a worldwide superfight held in a "football stadium" with over (some have projected) 60,000 fans in attendance and ALL the same numbers on PPV and network everywhere else?..

I thought I was clear on that. But lets break it down simple like. First off let us agree that the PPV numbers and networking fee's will be equal in either Venue.

Now look at the revenue a Venue like MEN or Soccer stadium can generate for a fight.

PPV + ticket sales = Purse for Soccer Stadium

In Vegas the Scenario goes as follows

    PPV + ticket sales + Hosting fee's = Purse

Of course the hosting fee is depedant on how big a fight is. When Tyson was barred from fighting in Vegas they had the fight in Missisppi. The Missippi casino's paid $15 million to host the fight.

Missippi is not as lucrative as Vegas and even they could afford to pay $15million for a big fight, if Tyson had his Vegas license the hosting fee would've been even more.

Yeah, a soccer stadium will have more seats but the added revenue of Cheaper seats (because the last 40k have to be at only around $100 bucks) will not equal what the fight gets from hositng fee's in Vegas.

I wasn't saying that he would WANT to fight at 2am I refuting your position that the PPV numbers would be affected by it being fought at an earlier US time.

Yeah, I would happly answer your question with the caveat that you answer mine.

Yeah, Cotto vs Mosley is a big fight.

My question is when Tyson fought Lennox would the extra 38K tickets made less than $15 million hosting fee?

You are eliminating "hosting fees" in all denomination from every other venue outside of a Las Vegas casino worlwide?.. Am I correct in this assessment?

I am stating that Casino's "where ever in the wrold they are" be it Vegas or Missippi can pay large hosting fee's due to the monies they will receive from the influx of gamblers.

Addison can you give tell me how it can make more in UK even with 38k more tickets?

I gave you my assesment backed by facts from the Tyson-Lewis fight.

Can you tell me why EVERY fight is not held at a "casino" based on your logic?

Why is a "big" fight like Mosley vs. Cotto being held at MSG if they could make SOOOOO much more money at a casino in Las Vegas?

Then you'll see why me answering any question you ask will only keep us going in ******ed circles..

You said it yourself. Cotto vs Mosley is a BIG fight it is not a Mega fight. Cotto isn't at that super PPV popularity yet.

I said Mega fights are held in Vegas not Big fights. And yes almost ALL MEGA fights are held in Las Vegas. Can you tell me the last Mega fight that wasn't held in Las Vegas?

You still haven't given any facts on why it would be more lucrative in UK?

FACT: Vegas Pays HUGE Hosting fee's for MEGA Fights, in the tens of millions

                    Are you refuting this fact?
