Corrales, although a magnificent fighter, never utilised his height and reach to ever truly be considered an 'A' fighter.
If Tszyu was in his prime, why hasn't he fought since Hatton?

Even that was a bit iffy.

Heart doesn't necessary win you fights (having said that, Hatton has just as much as anybody in the game). Gatti is a warrior, but a limited warrior. A prime Gatti would not beat a prime Hatton. Hatton is a better fighter than Ward, for **** sake.[/QUOTE]

Heart does win you fights. See Corrales - Castillo I, and tell me heart doesn't win you fights - watch Chico get up off the floor twice after nine or so rounds of hammering. See Micky Ward getting the **** beat out of him in the second fight of the Gatti trilogy, round four after being knocked down, demoralised and having been put on his knees and smacking his head on the corner, and then getting up to wave Gatti on.

Heart got Muhammed Ali up the hill when he knew he was past his best, heart keeps Evander Holyfield going at 40something, heart kept Mike Tyson going when he was shot.

Gatti at 140 or 147 would have murdered Hatton. Too much for Hatton. Watch Gatti cry when his trainer pulled him out of the Mayweather scrap. Too much heart.

mainly because he doesn't need to, he says he will comeback if the right offer comes his way, Tszyu was P4P #3 at the time, the way people dismiss Hatton is sickening.

Just because no one expected Hatton to win doesn't mean Tszyu was suddenly in his "prime". His prime years were '97-'01/02

If you get to include Tszyu then I get to include Oscar De La Hoya and Genero Hernandez both shoe-in Hall of Famers.

Well, supposedly, in the two fights after his 'prime years' he knocked out two decent opponents. Where exactly, did you start to see him fall out of his prime?

I get to include Tszyu due to his performances and victories before the Hatton fight - De La Hoya has been on the slide for a while.

Now i have watched Ricky from being a kid and I'll admit, i'm biased as Im from Manchester and also a city fan but that many people can't be wrong
Saying that 40 odd thousand turned upto watch city last year and we were so boring it was unreal
                EXACTLY.

Hatton has fought three times in the USA and has made ZERO in-roads with the American fans. Only the UK fans follow Hatton. Americans aren't turned on by that hugging and clutching. Ask John Ruiz.

It is laughable to hear Hatton describe himself as an exciting fighter. Were any of you "excited" watching the Collazo and Urago fights?

Collazo, yes, because it was very, very close. But that's the only reason.

                    Impressed? Far from it.

Delahoya would have beaten the snot out of Hatton on may 5th.
