I still don't think Floyd has thought anyone with the desire to win as Ricky and Rickys also in his prime with more power and boxing skill than the likes of gatti etc
Corrales had more heart than Ricky (and probably more heart than anyone who boxed) Castillo had more heart, Gatti had ten times more heart. All fought and lost to Floyd.

Gatti would have wiped the floor in his prime against Hatton. See Gatti - Ward trilogy for proof.

          Once again:

          Castillo
          Corrales
          Chavez
          Judah

Your turn. Name one, just one.

The way people were talking before Tszyu/Hatton suggests Tszyu was in his prime. Other than that, there are no serious contenders, but does that REALLY matter? Judah is NOT an A-level fighter... he lost to Baldomir before the Mayweather fight. Corrales, although a magnificent fighter, never utilised his height and reach to ever truly be considered an 'A' fighter.

Heart doesn't necessary win you fights (having said that, Hatton has just as much as anybody in the game). Gatti is a warrior, but a limited warrior. A prime Gatti would not beat a prime Hatton. Hatton is a better fighter than Ward, for **** sake.

Kostya was over the hill? The guy had knocked people out in his previous fights. He was the prime fighter according to everybody before the fight, the absolute favourite where Hatton didn't have a chance. An 'over the hill fighter' also doesn't fight hard for 11 rounds - he visibly slows down and loses his sharpness, something which was not evident in the Hatton performance.
Hatton fought Kosta and just Kosta, a man who was in the autumn, maybe winter, of his career.

Have you seen all Floyd's fights? I have. I don't like the man, but I can profess that he's a genius in his trade. I don't like Ray Leonard, but I have to take my hat off to him. Floyd is by a mile the best boxer we have seen since I don't know who, maybe Ray Leonard. Ricky Hatton is a lovely bloke, but he's like Naseem Hamed...a good bloke we all love, but a good bloke who fought ****ty fighters. Sure as Hamed fought Barrera, Hatton will fight Mayweather...and it'll be the same result.

I have seen a fair few of his fights, and i also believe he is one of the most skillful and talented boxers ever. But NOBODY is unbeatable. He came close to defeat against Oscar and Castillo. I have seen ALL of Hatton's fights and i know what he is capable of too.

How the hell can you compare him to Naseem Hamed? Hatton has achieved so much more than that heartless bastard.

                LOL. No, sorry try again.

Just because no one expected Hatton to win doesn't mean Tszyu was suddenly in his "prime". His prime years were '97-'01/02

If you get to include Tszyu then I get to include Oscar De La Hoya and Genero Hernandez both shoe-in Hall of Famers.

And did you seriously not consider a 2001, 130lb Corrales not an A-level fighter? Are you ****ing joking?

Judah, fine I can let slide, but please tell you're joking about Corrales.

The best fighter he's beaten that was still in his prime is Collazo and Collazo is a B- fighter at best...
