i do laugh everytime i think of how everybody was saying pantera was gonna destroy pavlik, that he had no chance. well, the fight was pretty one sided, it just went the other way

I will lean towards pavlik.. But I do think its close.. but Taylor has had too many close contraversial fights that he really doesnt have me convinced he the man at 160.. so I hope Pavlik takes him out of there..

this won't be an easy fight for pavlik, taylor is not edison miranda. taylor has the natural athleticism and he has a great jab. pavlik is a good boxer- puncher, yeah, he's slow, and his defense isn't that great but jermain taylor can't even knock out a welterweight so i don't see him having anything to worry about. pavlik should take this, it'll b a very exciting fight.

as for the excuses, if they rematch a higher weight, that helps pavlik too, he's also weight drained at 160, if pavlik knocks taylor out at 160, he'll knock him out again at 168. pavlik just can't leave the fight in the hands of the judges, or taylor will get another gift decision like hopkins 1 and wright, even cory spinks
