    1. you really think an uppercut and a hook from taylor is gonna affect the guy who shook off edison miranda's right hand bombs?

    2. when the hell did taylor ever throw anything that even resembled a fight winning punch?

    3. taylor has his jab, nothing else. pavlik has his jab, his left hook, his right hand, his left uppercut, his bodypunches, etc.

      Pavlik hasn't fought anyone.

Taylor has wins over all stars left and right. Plus he's much more athletic, faster, and not a stationary plodding target that leads with his chin like Pavlik. This fight is going to shock the hell out of you.

I've been pretty frustrated with Taylor, too, but to say he has no chance is foolish. Even the smaller men he has fought have been better than Pavlik's competition thus far. Sure, Miranda was a well liked brawler- but everyone knew he was a flawed power puncher. They just underestimated how a little boxing skills could go a long way for Pavlik.

Do I think Pavlik is ****, or destined to lose? No. But Jermain being in the ring with the now light heavyweight Bernard Hopkins and Winky Wright does consist of some very tought competition- even if he looked less than amazing. Heck, even Kassim Ouma and Spinks are better boxers, if smaller men, than Pavlik's opponents. It all adds up to Taylor having fought more skilled opposition - so this might be his chance to shine and show that he really deserves the belt.

Maybe Pavlik wins...but by no means does Taylor have no chance. He has a very real chance to win.

yeah, edison miranda is a nobody.

being athletic doesnt make you a good boxer, especially when you dont use that atheticism to your advantage.

yes, in fact he is a stationary plodding target. like i said before, he cant move for **** and cant box for ****.

I think they're still sniffing the fumes of the Pavlik-Miranda fight. Probably 1 of only a hand full of fights they've seen of him. Talk about bandwagoners.

Are Pavlik fans going to cry if Pavlik looses. It's funny, before Pavlik beat Miranda he didn't really even have a fan-base at all. Until, the fight popped up before the final results of Miranda Pavlik, all these Pavlik fans came out of no wheres... Must be some people on here from Ohio.

Miranda is my boy, still is.

But I overrated the **** out of him. If he can't knock Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik out there's really no hope for him taking over.

Styles don't make fights in this case. He made the slow, wide punching Pavlik look like Tommy Hitman in that fight. That's sad.

See? This is how two intelligent people that disagree act. Thanks for not trying to flame me or start a dumb fight because we don't see eye to eye. I understand your points, as you do mine, and we just have to wait until fight night to see what happens.

Personally, I've been pissed off with Taylor- if you run through my past posts on him you'd see that. Middleweight champion of the world fighting junior middleweights Wright, Ouma, and Spinks? Fight men your own size! I just don't think this is a walk-through win for Pavlik. Taylor has fought good boxers...they've just been smaller. The real question is whether or not he's ready to step into the ring with a man who can **** and actually deserves to fight for the middleweight championship. I don't know if he can or not...I just know he has a chance.
