I dont take ANYTHING away from Calzaghe, I know he has a pretty solid chin, hits like a bull and is pretty fast in the hands, but Lacy would massacre him.

That is my opinion....Calzaghe is a good fighter, Lacy is a great one....

Lacy in under 4 if it ever happened.

Restless-On a side note, Jesus christ Lacy is a big man for 168....

    LMAO!!

Whats the big deal about Lacy!?!?!? He's 17-0 prospect who hasnt been in with a decent fighter, Vanderpool is ok but he's not exactly world class is he, and to make it worst Lacy didnt even look that good against him!!

What have you seen that i'm missing?? Lacy has got some talent but the fact he's a world champion is a joke in itself!! He'll be a good fighter in 2006 but Calzaghe would beat him up badly in 2004/2005.

I totally agree, Calzaghe right now is at a different level and seems to put on excellent performances when challenged ( Eubank, Sheika etc.. ). i think Lacy would be stopped late by Calzaghe but it would be a great fight and i wish it happen. Unfortunately, all these big names end up ducking Joe. I think it has\something to do with his quality.

Hang on, "Lacy didn't look good against him?". It was one of the best fights this year! Obviously you didn't even watch it. Second, Lacy will beat Calzaghe either THIS year, or EARLY next! Like spinksjinx said, Calzaghe=good Lacy=great.

Get Calzhage n the ring with Green and we'll see how good he is.
Green will Hand Joe his first loss, I guarentee it.

One hell of a fight that would be. It won't last the distance, i guarantee it!

              Lacy-Calzaghe should happen, must happen.

Jc Will Destroy Him, Hes Done Nothing To Proove Otherwise, Lacy Has Only Fought 17 Fights And They Have Been Against Nobodys

Joe Will Destroy Him With His Power Speed And Heart, Not To Mention The Fact That Lacys Power Will Be Cancelled Out By Jc's Chin

Joe Calzaghe and Danny Green would be a very good fight but i think Joe's experience may just take him through the Green fight. Danny is a good powerful puncher and fights well but Joe adopts the same game plan and has fought some tough opposition over the years. I admit Joe's opposition has been pretty poor the last few years but that has been through lack of opponents and Sven Ottke refusing to fight Joe. Now there are no excuses for Joe as there is plenty of competition waiting for him like Mikkel Kessler, Danny Green, Jeff Lacy and maybe even Marcus Beyer. I know these aren't big names in boxing but they are certainly big in the Super Middleweight dvision at the moment.

JC's chin? The dude went down against Byron Mitchell. Lacy has a tad more power, I believe
