I have seen it a couple of times now and i dont see why this 17-0 fighter is being called great!!

what the **** is all that about!!!!

How can anyone call him great when he has beaten a good fighter yet!?!?!? He's good but he hasnt proved his worth yet.

Green will Hand Joe his first loss, I guarentee it.
Green would be Calzaghe's toughest fight at super middle, i like what i have seen of him but i still think Calzaghe would beat him.

Green has proved his worth, i'd be happy to see Calzaghe take that fight. Maybe Green should take Lacys belt first and make it a super fight!

JC is a good fighter I believe. I mean, he beat the balls off of Charles Brewer. No easy task for ANYONE. I think he could have beaten Ottke.

But, other than Brewer he has shown a real unwillingness to fight anybody of consequence. I mean, Antwun Echols would suffice. But instead he is fighting Kabary ****ing Salem!!!! This is dissapointing.

Hang hang! Calzaghe wanted the big fights, and offer was made to Bernard Hopkins and all it needed was Hop`s signiture and he didn`t sign.
Calzaghe has never ducked anyone. They have avoided him.
As for the bull**** regarding Joe`s `weak` chin, that is a fairy tale. Robin Reid, Brewer and Mitchell tested it. Yes, Joe got caught and went down but he got straight back up and ended the fight seconds later. How the hell does a man with a bad chin get knocked down and then stops the guy a minute later. If Joe had been hurt he would have backed off. Thats like saying Muhammad Ali had a bad chin when he was floored by Brit Henry Cooper. for my money 37 fights unbeaten with one flash knock down does not consitute a bad chin.
Danny Green would not want to fight Joe and Lacy would sooner dive off the statue of liberty rather than fight Joe.
Realize that Joe is the real deal and if these payday hungry wanna bes were to fight him we`d all find out!

Joe's chin is Grade A, steel in my book....

The thing I like about Joe is he doesnt price himself out of matches which shows that he wants the best.......

I like calzaghe but I just dont think he would fair well against Lacy.....

Every fighter has to lose sometime in their career though.

Ottke would have been stopped in around against Calzaghe, Lacy and Green.

Mitchell wasnt a bad fighter, he could punch too. i cant believe that Ottke took him 12!! Maybe it was a fixed fight again!?

As for Echols, i dont think that would prove much. There are only two fighters(Green/Lacy) with chance against Calzaghe at super middle and both would be wise to wait a year or two, joe will slow down and be ready for the taking.

If Ottke can be unbeaten anyone can do it, all you need is a German passport!

Glad To See So Many People Getting Behind Jc.... He Is By Far The Most Gifted Middleweight Out There

But I Dont Agree When Peolle Think That Hopkins Darent Fight Him, Hes Just Looking For The Big Money Fights, There Are Bigger Money Fights Out There For Hopkins At The Minute With Johnson And Arver, Even Though I Believe That Jc Would Knock All Three Of These Out

LOL!!! I shouldn`t laugh, Ottke`s fights were criminal at times. I remember Robin Rekid beating him up for 12 rounds and flooring him only to only win like 3 rounds on two of the scorecards.
If only Ottke had fought a title fight out of Germany. We might have seen how good he really was!

To call Calzaghe the most gifted middleweight? Come on you cant be entirely serious on that????

I dont blame hopkins for wanting the big fights after the garbage checks he picked up for years....

Johnson vs Hopkins doesnt appeal to me much neither does Tarver...**** I would rather see Jones vs Hopkins still then hopkins fighting those guys....

Plus Hopking is only going to be fighting for another year after january that leaves 2-3 fights left in him.....

He could rematch trinidad/de la hoya and fight sturm....Which would most likely be how it pans out....I dont see Hopkins moving up in weight after his 20th defense unless the payday was of the caliber of the dlh check he picked up......

                    ????-Retirement

Is the way I see things for hopkins, I dont see him moving up.

I hope not. Strum is young and fresh but the style is good for Hopkns and he should win a dec.
I don`t wanna watch hopkins beat up Tito again. It was great the first time, i don`t think i ever enjoyed watching someone being beaten up before until that fight ( Tito was put in his place, excellent to watch the ****y bastard get it ).
I think Howard Eastman ( unless King pays him off ) in a tough fight i believe then Hopkins will have one super fight at a new weight. If Shane Mosley beats Wright ( very unlikely ) Hopkins Mosley will happen or Tarver if he beats Johnson and becomes undisputed champ.
