I relly am not a fan of Joe Calzhage, the man got dumped by Byron Mitchell, I mean he won but it was ugly i still think green will take Joe Apart, i think even Mundine stands a chance against Calzhage.

IMO, Syd Vanderpool ran out of gas, and that's what allowed Lacy to win. He just gets hit too much by anyone with decent handspeed, and when he fights someone with a real punch, he'll either have to tighten his defense up, or lose. The only thing that impressed me about the Lacy/Vanderpool fight was his chin. Lacy has decent speed, but IMO, he's no faster than a 23 year old Tyson, and that's not fast for a 168 pound fighter. I think Scott Pemberton would kick his ass too.

It was while Calzaghe was on beating on Mitchell, everyone gets caught like that at least once in their career.

I have heard a couple of people knocking Mitchell but he's a good boxer, he can punch too. I was sure Mithcell would KO Ottke until i saw how negative Mitchell was fighting, that was a fix.

I think Green gives Calzaghe a good fight and Calzghe knocks Mundine out in 1 round.

I take it your an aussie, kangeroo on your avatar and speaking about Green and Mundine. Oh yeah the thunder from down under gives it away a little

Yeah I'm an aussie, and sometimes (Foolishly) let the old patriotic pride cloud my vision of the truth, but i think green will beat Calzhage, but hey your probably right about mundine, but i wouldn't underestimate mundine, after losing to siaca, he has been in blistering form.

he's been sparring with some good fighters here in aus.

Mundine looks a good fighter at times, but if Ottke knock Mundine out then i hate to think what Green or Calzaghe would do to him!!

Actually, I used to live close to the beach, but i live on a Farm Now, it's huge, but it's cool, i have to drive to the city every morning for work.

but my farm is just outside the city, so it aint that far.

G'Day Mate ! Been to Sydney a few years back. Must admit that you got one hell of a place there (esp. King's Cross, haha). A lot of talk has been goin around lately about the upcoming fight of your boy St. Claire against Manny in Dec. Would be interested on your take on this seemingly dangerous fighter from down under. How do you assess him?

Calzaghe has never ducked anyone. They have avoided him.
As for the bull**** regarding Joe`s `weak` chin, that is a fairy tale. Robin Reid, Brewer and Mitchell tested it. Yes, Joe got caught and went down but he got straight back up and ended the fight seconds later. How the hell does a man with a bad chin get knocked down and then stops the guy a minute later. If Joe had been hurt he would have backed off. Thats like saying Muhammad Ali had a bad chin when he was floored by Brit Henry Cooper. for my money 37 fights unbeaten with one flash knock down does not consitute a bad chin.
Danny Green would not want to fight Joe and Lacy would sooner dive off the statue of liberty rather than fight Joe.
Realize that Joe is the real deal and if these payday hungry wanna bes were to fight him we`d all find out!
I just thought I'd dig up a few interesting threads. I guess you were right about this argument wer'nt you
