His upper body defense is immense, but at times it was almost as if he LET De La Hoya hit him to the body. When he's got his left or right hand up against his face rolling off the ropes, if Hatton switches his attack to the body he can have success.
I see openings, and Hatton is one of the best bodypunchers in the game, if not THE best, particularly with his technique and the force he puts into them body hooks.Comment

First of all, if you've seen any of Floyd's fights (which I doubt based on your assestment that "it's almost as if he let Oscar hit him") you'll know that he goes to the ropes and corners on purpose. He loves slipping and evading punches there to tire his opponents out. And if you think what Oscar threw there was landing, you're a ****ing joke. It looked like he was scratching Floyd or trying to kill flies near him when he threw those silly-ass "body punches"His upper body defense is immense, but at times it was almost as if he LET De La Hoya hit him to the body. Hatton is NOT the best budypuncher in the game (that would be Cotto without a doubt) and even still, who has he faced that has been HALF as good defensively as Mayweather is?Comment
