James Toney had 9 title defenses at 160, Toney's big wins at middleweight is better then Hopkins 20 title defenses wins at the middleweight division.

Toney is a 4 divison champ with 80 career fights, Toney's legacy is def better in my opinion.

you are just a b hop hater. he got dominated for 12 round against jones !!! hopkins made a fight of it . and he beat th then 2* ranked pound for pound fighter in tito who Ko'd william joppy before that. hopkins made these contenders look like chumps. hopkins beat tarver who was 1 at LHW he also beat glen johnson he stopped him.!!

as far as overall boxing skills in their primes i'd take toney
but b-hop is a modern boxing legend and most people will see his legacy greater than toney's
