Roy Jones Jr. vs Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather is undefeated, and has titles in SO many divisions. He's beaten De La Hoya, Chico, Hernandez, Judah, Gatti, Carlos Baldomir, (he WAS the WORLD champion, by the only organization that has credibility). On top of that, he NEVER was involved in ANY steroid scandals, NEVER was ACTUALLY knocked DOWN, and has only one REAL questionable decision, in the first Castillo fight. He redeemed himself in the rematch and has a win over him. has a decent knockout rate. Has better fundamental skills, had roughly the same amateur career, and is still on top of the boxing world. Only thing Roy has over him is that he had the P4P title longer. But, that's something Mayweather COULD be working on.

To me, legacy-wise..

..Mayweather > Roy Jones...

Ummm.. what about the Judah fight, it was clearly the wrong call when PBF's glove touched the canvas, it should have been counted as a knock down. Also PBF has won titles in 5 weight divisions, only one more than RJJ's 4. PBF has held 8 different titles (to my knowledge) throughout his career (including all junky titles for both men) to RJJ's much higher amount if you notice he has 7 different titles alone in the light heavy weight division, so technically RJJ has way more in total but PBF has more in division, though i will say that RJJ has a lot more junky titles under his name, you dont just win a title from someone with the worse record in boxing. so i would still say RJJ is the better of the two.

i dont know how ...........i easily go with Floyd he is a better overall boxer than Roy and he has a better defense......Now you really can't compare who is better now because roy is finished with his career and floyd is still continuing and only 30 years old if you wanna compare compare them when they both was 30 ...............

Even if that SHOULD have been called a knockdown, it wasn't an actual knockDOWN.. as he wasn't even close to falling. I wouldn't call Roy Jones' first official knockdown an actual knockdown either, because it wasn't something to worry about. Fact is, Floyd has never been laid out. Jones has been, twice, back to back, both times by (in my humble opinion) lesser fighters. Then, you mention the titles, Not even important with how many "titles" are floating around Records, names he's beaten and overall skill level and longevity, Mayweather outshines Jones in my personal opinion. Jones is a good fighter, though. Was great at a point. Don't get my wrong.
