Nacho is the best trainer in boxing, He has fighters trained from the ground up and makes them stars, he also doesnt need a cutman cause Nacho is also a excellent cutman so he knows if his fighters are really badly hurt

what you suppose Enzo Calzaghe belongs in this list, or Trinidad Sr. Hell Nah, Nacho Beristein is the best one and he is a Mexican trainer, if it aint him its Emmanuel Stewart

Emmanual Stewart gets my vote based on his track record & his results, He Trains CHAMPIONS!!! Buddy McGirt gits @nd, not because of who he's trained & where they wound up, but how he trains them (see what he did for Brewster...only a Real trainer looks out like that). Honourable mention goes to both Freddie Roach & Teddy Atlas. Now can u Dig Dat?!?

whats the point nobody would vote for them, only Enzo, but Enzo only really trains his son

I couldve and taken out Roger Mayweather from this list, cause he does not do nothing for Floyd as a trainer, He doesnt teach Floyd speed or anything Floyd dont know, he also doesnt train anyone either than Floyd, I ****ed up by not putting Enzo over Roger cause Enzo at least brought Joe up as a boy to a boxing undefeated B+ fighter today,Enzo really did train Joe and Roger only left of from what Floyd Sr ended, Roger is just a lame duck trainer who trains nobody but Floyd

I don't really rate mcgirt, he's on one of the worst losing streaks in history.

Given the poll options, I voted for Manny Steward mainly on the strength of his noteriety, as I'm less of an authority on trainers than I am on boxers, or for that matter, boxing.

That said, there are seven other notable trainers who merit honorable mention. The con****uous absence of their names from the poll is probabably more a reflection of the thread-starter's youth than anything else.
                    • Cus D'Amato of Floyd Patterson/Jose Torres fame.
                    • Teddy Atlas (Mike Tyson)
                    • Kevin Rooney (Mike Tyson)
                    • Yancey "Yank" Durham (Joe Frazier)
                    • Eddie Futch trained Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Larry Holmes and Trevor Berbick, four of the five men to defeat Muhammad Ali.
                    • Angelo Dundee (Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard) need I say more?
                    • Ray Arcel (the "Methuselah" of trainers), trained two of the greatest lightweight champions in boxing history - Benny Leonard and Roberto Duran - 60 years apart!
