Teddy, despite being as overrated as any trainer can possibly be, said the right things to Moorer in the first Holyfield fight and the Foreman fight. It's just that Moorer could be such a stubborn lazy-ass and did things his own way, and it really hurt him against Foreman.

HBO Legendary Nights can fool people into believing that Teddy somehow "willed" Moorer to victory. After seeing the fight in full, I saw how damn lazy Moorer was even after Teddy was begging him to fight harder. Even Jim Lampley said "well, Moorer is gonna get another scorching from Teddy Atlas after this round".

I actually used to more or less like Teddy, but after watching and learning more about him, and his fighters, I now see what an overrated trainer and a huge hypocrite he is.

It is sad to see how much potential Moorer had but like you stated, he is lazy as hell, like James Toney, but Teddy put in a great effort with a uneffortless fighter, Thats why Tua knocked out Moorer in under 20 seconds, he doesnt pay attention and gets hit for putting no attention

Yoel Judah!!!. Its a tie between Roach and Emmanuel for me. I think Emmanuel has THE best advice during the fights but can sometimes be too calm. I also think Roach's training and concepts outside of the ring are the best. He always has his fighters prepared for war.
