If you think about it, they'd have to be 2 seperate cases. Warren can't sue Ray for breach and he can't sue Ricky for libel.

I agree, but both cases affect them same contract dont they? If ray is found guily of libellous statements, (which may have been reasons for the breach of contract) they have little defense for ricky's breach of contract, thus meaing if ray loses his libel case, ricky and ray would also have little defence for their breach of contract and lose that too?

Ricky would have had to re-iterate his dad's comments to use them as grounds for breaking his contract, thus opening himself up to libel action. He must have ended it on different grounds or he would have been getting sued along with his dad.

Okay, you probably know more about the Law then me, i didnt do so well in that class, i take your word for it. Although i offically got my degree this week and i was super happy about that (it wasnt in law as you can tell, lol)

I spend half my day reading through contracts and leases so I'm up on it a bit. I don't think we'll ever get the full story but Ricky and Ray can't be held responsible for eachothers actions.
