Floyd has stated he has gone back to 147. There is some big names in there at the moment: Cintron, Williams, Mosley, Cotto, etc.. But he is looking to fight Ricky hatton? The smaller guy that is obviously not that good at 147? I hate to state the obvious here, but Floyd seems to be picking the easier fights always. Stand up flat footed guys who try to brawl that can be outboxed. Like Gatti,Baldomir, dlh (way past prime).. Now theres hatton, not to discredit him.. But he comes forward with weak defense and is an open target, floyd sees that as an easy UD or possible late stoppage, he is the bigger man after all.. So Im curious why he wouldnt want to fight all these big names in the welterweight division.. it would definetly get rid of any questions I have about who the best is. What is everyone's take on this?
Floyd avoiding the talent at 147 ??

Hell nah. Hatton has speed, pop, and a dirty style that will give Floyd fits even though Floyd will be favored to win.
Floyd is not taking an easy fight by facing Hatton. But Floyd will do everything he can to make that a boring fight. -
I think he should fight Hatton. Hatton has been calling him out. Now that Mayweather wants the fight this should be a no brainer for Hatton to agree. As for the other talent I would favor him against Cotto, Mosley and Cintron. And Williams I think he would have a problem against and could lose. But he is very capable of pulling that victory off as well.Last edited by Kobe Bryant; 07-15-2007, 04:11 PM.Comment

Awe man, please! First he was avoiding Margarito until Margarito got exposed.. Now he's ducking Cotto and Mosley? Didn't Cotto and Mosley actually duck him? This is ****** and Cintron is a nobody compared to Floyd, he got killed by an overhyped clown, you're reaching. Hatton is the fight everyone wants to see, they're about the same size, and it's a good match stylistically. At the end of the day no one is better than Floyd so why should he be running, he does what he wants and what he's choosing to do now is a good choice.Comment

Now why would you gon and say that? PBF is nothing but a RJj counter punching copy cat...[I love both fighters btw!].
Now, we all know you got love for RJj...you think hesa boring fighter?
And lay off giving bad Karma or whatever you did from the thread I posted. Or next time I go to see my Ma in FL I'll have to stop @ your gym for sparring.

No one was 'exposed'. Someone has to lose. Your overuse of this word is getting way overboard.Awe man, please! First he was avoiding Margarito until Margarito got exposed..Comment

Roy has more style, pop, and tenacity than Floyd ever had or will have. An old ass Roy was walking down his opponent last night, coming forward even though he knew he could've been KOd just like before. Sure Floyd is better at this point.
but prime for prime, one man was a better artist and more inspiring...Comment
