I don't think totti's style is suited to the english game, he was completely out of the match against united at old trafford last season and he didn't look too good in the champions league games against Liverpool and Arsenal a few years back. Players from serie A rarely do well when they play in England, not because they lack the skill, but because of the vast differences between the two leagues. It works both ways, Gascoigne and Ince were hopeless when they went to Italy.

I think totti was okay 2nd leg i didnt see the 1st one, i heard he played very well in that one.

No i dont think he could hack it in the prem, he's a guy who likes to dish out a challenge but cant take it back, his mentality can be weak and you can take him off his game easily by man handling him. Its also pretty quick too, i wouldnt fancy his chances there, strictly speaking chelsea need a player like him, but he would find it difficult.

He never achived his full potential and he is one of those players you really need to watch over 90 mintues because he does suttle flicks and skills which are just incredible, so to the armchair fan, it appears that he is overrated.

It wierd, he won the world cup, but other than that semi against germany, when he was pure class, didnt do much else other than that last minute penalty, he was cack in the final to. I dunno, part of me think he should retire, he's not the same, a little too slow these days, maybe its because he plays injured,

He will always be my all time favorite player though, just because i think he is flawed genius, people get drawn to those types.
